There has been news recently that wolves have been taken off the protected list and able to be hunted again. Now, people have been killing millions of wolves once again. People who have been trying to find ways to help them, there is now a solution.

I'm filled with anger and pain. I feel this way not just because I'm sick that people do this to wolves but also because I'm only twelve so I can't do much about it. I could probably do small things but my mother doesn't seem to care for our wildlife, therefore she wouldn't let me.

However, you could help these wolves in great need! Please, help end the pain to our beautiful wolves!

P.S. I also found the video on the site rather disturbing and heart breaking. If you can't stand watching animals in pain, (like me. -_-) then I would take heed in watching the video. You can if you are willing to stand it.

wow that really sucks well here in Canada the wolves seem to be fine atm .. and btw any kid can do something about it.. i've watched a show where an 8 year old (i think) made a difference for police dogs and made a drive to raise money to buy them bullet proof vests... anyways... back on topic.... well hope you Americans help the wolves.. i can't really donate money since i'm moving soon .. good luck.. you should help them yourself

Yeah me too, I just wanna put all those wolf hunters in prison and leave them there for the rest of their lives well guess I can't do anything about it either so I guess I'll just sit here on this chair and wait for those hunters to be eaten by wolves (well not all the wolfhunters...)

I don't understand people who enjoy killing wolves. They are even more savage than the animals they hunt that are thought to be savage.

That all depends where though. =\ I'm not sure where, but not long ago people began to set poisonous traps around for wolves to eat...because they thought there were too many. Of course we need to "control" the population, but not through poisons. There were actually some activists (professional ones at that) who were protesting against it. The poison caused them alot of pain before dying. It caused seizures...

Although I think that issue is over with now...

Anyway, I think NO animals should be hunted for game. Only if necessary should they be hunted. (Like Indians or the natives that live in the arctic.) We don't NEED to hunt.

My sister's friend and her father hunt...But that's because that's ALL they eat. They do not buy any meat products; all their meat food was hunted by themselves. They use everything, the pelt, bones..ect. I think that's fine. (These people aren't natives or anything, that's just how they live)

Well, the wolf reintroduction was a success. In fact, the wolf population has boomed, which is why wolves are being delisted in the first place. I'm not sure about the killing methods, though... but poison should definitely be illegal, IMO.

I don't hunt. I just don't think I'd be able to. But whatever floats your boat; if someone wants to hunt, fine by me.

But yeah, if they aren't endangered any more...then why should they even be on the list?XD I never got why people went all crazy about that...It's a good thing they aren't there because that means they aren't near extinction.

I am apart of this great effort to save our wolves. Wolves, to me, are one of the most unique creatures on earth and to shoot them is just plain wrong, especially in Alaska. It's sad that in the same state where a half-wolf saves a town that people would kill, or even have the thought of killing a wolf.

The real Balto was a husky, not part wolf.

I think that it's horrible that people would do such a thing. I heard a rumor that they did take wolves off the list. As soon as that happened, people just shot wolves for an exuse of It was near my kids or It was near my property! It's disappointing.

lol one .. this is off topic.. and 2 Balto WAS NOT part wolf.. if you go on YouTube.. and search Balto Documentary.. they said they made him part wolf the fact it would get him through the journey (serum run in the movie)..
