ok, well, earlier today (June 24th) I saw someone in the rp bring up the fact that someone (I won`t call out any names) rudely getting onto to another someone`s case just because they were gay, (the same person critisized me once for the same reason) and I believe nothing was done about either cases, and I got to thinking, "shouldn`t there be a no descrimination rule for gays/l.e.s.b.i.a.n.s/bisexuals on the site?" I think whoever keeps harrasing a member because of they`re sexuality should be banned. and any crude, homophobic insults towards gays/l.e.s.b.i.a.n.s/bisexuals should not be allowed period. (which they probably already aren`t anyway, but these are just my opinions)

so in short: homophobic discrimination should not be tolerated here AT ALL, in my opinion...

and I wish I could word this all better but I guess I`ve said enough now, and PLEASE do not lock this topic (unless there`s already one like this), I think this is a serious issue that needs to be dealt with.

btw, if your wondering why I had to put periods in between each two letters of the word l.e.s.b.i.a.n, it`s because the word is blocked out if I don`t do that. which I don`t really understand why....

there already IS a rule about this. no harrassment of ANY sort is tolerated. and your right that it isn't right for people to be aleinated just because of thier sexual orientation. in fact i have friends that are gay and bi and they are some of the nicest people i have ever met, all of this coming from a strait person. i for am confident enough in my own sexuality to get along with people like this just fine each and every day. these people being crtical of homosexuals indicates that they aren't secure with themselves, leading them to making fun of others. i hope you did the right thing and reported everything to a mod so this person can be punished. though, becuase gay and bisexual people are more than three times as likely to commit suicide becuase they get harrassed. let me refrase jerseys comment about the other word you said that was blocked, it's not a polite and is somewhat innapropriate to be allowed on a kids site. if i was the parent of a ten or eleven year old, im sure i wouldnt want them reading that word on every other thread they clicked on.

I believe you just said there is no bigotry on this forum. You in fact couldn't be more wrong. Bigotry is ABUNDANT in this forum. You either need to reword your sentence, or completely rethink what you said, likely both. You're making yourself look like an idiot.

And we're all equally worthless? Fair enough. The problem I have with what you said is, "to me", which implies exclusion of yourself in that statement. In honestly, you don't seem too bright. If you can't see the amount of bigotry on this forum that exists, you are in no position to say what you said. Now, I suggest you remove yourself from that pedestal before someone knocks you off it themselves.

It was less of a response to the critisism itself (I take all responsibility for my actions), and more of one to its structure. He seemed to have really got upset over what I wrote without paying attention to the parenthesees, which immediately refutes any seriousness in my statement.

Don't think that I didn't pay attention to the parentheses. You need to realize the irrelevancy of the fact that it happens to "be from a movie". You still used it as response to this topic. Maybe it refutes the seriousness to you, but you need to realize the line between your own personal assurance and what others are going to think of it. Don't point out to me that I misunderstood you. Because I fully understood what you wrote and responded to it accordingly.

Anyway, I think that if any rule of that sort should be enforced it should be "No discrimination whatsoever". The rule should be not only for a certain group of people, but that same respect should be given to everyone.

People should not be hated for their religions and people of different races should be hated for being different. No matter what that different thing is...People shouldn't be disrespectful of them, even online.

Now, I'm not saying people don't have the right to think what they want, I'm just saying if what they have to say would offend someone they should take it to somewhere which such things are tolerated or not say anything at all...

As it has been pointed out, this is a useless topic. your mostly telling on the person. (in a differnt way.) You should of reported this person, isnted of rambling about it, here.
