My friend said her dog had gotten skin cancer, she said it was some kind of growth on her dogs leg. I never got to see it but she says that my dog has the same growth on his back. I can't seem to find any pictures of skin cancer (for dogs) so I'm not sure. If anyone can explain or find a picture to what this looks like, thanks.

It's as simple as this : Go to the vet.

If you EVER have any doubts about your dog's health you should immediately go to the vet...Trust me it's better safe than sorry.

My dog had a deadly virus called Parvo...She would have died if I hadn't noticed she was acting very tired and slugish. And that she also wasn't eating her food or treats. (My dog is a real pig so that was obviously a red flag) I told my parents that something was VERY wrong with her...We brought her to the vet and he said that if we had waited any longer she would have died in her sleep...

like JC said and some of Emily's stuff... go to the vets right away.. and most vets will do that.. and if they don't call you YOU call them.. vets are busy you know so if they don't call within the month you call up.. you don't just wait a year to see if they finally call... dude go to a vet or 2 or even more if they don't answer.. if you don't get an answer then call the vets yourselves instead of wasting money to never get a call.. call a vet or call a shelter or something like that they should surely give you an answer and explain your situation.. your dog is in need of help and you need to do something quick..

and trust me it's not impossible to find no pictures of skin cancer on dogs cuz i googled it and tons of them came up and here are some examples of some skin cancer and these are not my dogs ... and if you do wanna treat a dog with skin cancer.. SEARCH IT on google.. like google will give you tons of answers..

I agree with Black-Wolf-Soul totally! You're just wasting money when you can just call a vet. And this is the internet! There's bound to be pictures of skin cancer for dogs! (A.K.A. Google)

Please tell us if your dog makes it through... :(

amazingly good point JC .. everything you said made perfect sense (hehe the second paragraph) and thnx.. like i would FLY to another country just if i couldn't get my dog better or go to every veterinarian in Canada.. Like Element a vet isn't going to pop in your door or miraculously call you and say "Oh my god, your dog is it okay?.. I'll treat it right now.." am not being harsh and/or mean and neither is JC or anyone else we're trying to explain things for you to do rather than wait.. dogs can certainly die of this cancer not sure how long a dog has to live off of this but they can die and you need HELP FAST!! before it spreads and the point you can't do much.. :? ..

go in a phone book or google it if have too for vet numbers and explain what is going on you'll fnd the answers you need somehow
