Custom member titles

No doubt a lot of us have seen the following setup of a username on this forum: Name{clan/group}. To dissolve this fad a bit, I suggest the implementation of custom user titles below the user name. That might prove to be an alternative for the aforementioned username, and could allow members to further personalize their profiles. Just a though.

Do you mean like you could put whatever you want there? For example, your mood or something? I think that'd be really cool ^^

If this can be done and isn't too much of a hassle, I think this should be done =) Very good idea.

Not sure if it's possible to give the users the possibility to create their own ranks. But, I can add a field below "Joined", "Posts" and "Location".
I'm not sure if dividing the members in clans/groups/packs is a good idea though. But at the same time, most of you are already doing it, so...

that is an original thing you suggested. not to mention what steet said about many members doing it. which is very true, i think it would be a great new thing to test out. :wink:

Well we could always try it and see what happens. If it causes too much fuss and the like, you could take it off...But I guess that might also take too much time =\

Sounds like a fun idea actually though it'd have to have a way for mods to edit them as I can foresee some trouble-makers putting inappropriate words in it. -_-

Well, it would give the mods an additional thing to have to watch. Which apparently they have enough on their plates as it is.

I have added it. Although, it's not yet displayed when you view topics (only if you look at the profile of someone)
I will have to make some more modifications to enable viewing it elsewhere.

Now it should appear on the left.
In fact it was very easy to add (I only missed one option in the admin) So if you have any other ideas for custom fields, tell me...
