I'm sure most of you know what I'm talking about. For those who don't, Anorexia is a eating disorder which causes you to become underweight. So, I took one of those 'BMI'( Body Mass Index ), and it claims that 19 - 24 for a result is healthy. I got 14.5. So I know this may seem stupid to ask but, what should I do? I'm not sure my parents would handle this well. Lately I've been getting comments like, " You should eat more, " But I didn't think it was that bad! I know my family will most likely over-react(Except for Felicity, who's too young to understand these matters), so I'm trying to find a way to tell them. I've took a screenshot of my result to prove it, and if anybody wants me to, I'll upload it. This has worried a lot, and I'm wondering on what I should do. Any suggestions?

well those are internet results.. not everything on the internet is true you know even tests.. i've taken tons of test and well i don't believe unless their from an actually doctor or psychologists (and yes it would state the doctors name) or a site recommended by an actual doctor .. which it's happened to me lots. So don't actually believe sites unless there's a guarantor.. and plus weight varies on your height, diet, and parentage and all that.. thats what my doc and phys said to me..

Every test has said the same thing. x-x And, I don't eat very much. For some reason I'm never hungry. And yes, at least three of the five I took were tested by doctors and that kind of stuff.

Considering I often get the same yet want to gain weight... I suppose you could go to your doctor and ask what you could do, or maybe a dietician... for me it's my high metabolism, it speeds up during teen years so it's likely that once you settle down into your later teen years so will that.
Okay. I don't know. I'm stuck in the same rut.

It's probably not anorexia, unless you deliberately starve yourself. The best thing to do is to find out what would be the right portions at each meal, and what amount would suit your needs. I agree with what has already been said - ask a nutritionist or your doctor.

well it depends, do you perposfully starve yourself becuase you look in the mirror and see yourself as ugly and fat. or do not even care about body image. some people are nuturally built very tiny like my lil bro for example, hes underweight but his height growth pattern is fine. hes only nine and he eats normally. hes seeing a nutritionist now to up his weight, you might be having a similar problem, thats all. and your BMI numbers are wrong anyhow(based on my pediatricians guide), it's 19-27 is healthy(for kids, once again), what i hate is that my BMI was 19.5 and my percintile is 47 and i still feel too skinny, but then again, many americans nowadays are fat so it's contorting my thinking i think.

I'll admit, when I was younger I was "Pro Ana " But I stopped after. It took me a while to start eating again, and now I've been skipping meals because I just haven't been hungry at all.
