Y'know, so all the spammers can find a place to go. They're also a lot of fun to post in.

That's kinda what I'm saying. Save the spam for the spam forum the way The Lion King is reserved for the Lion King forum. It would cut down on spam in the rest of the site. Also, if you've ever been in a spam forum, the are quite a lot of fun. If anyone posts spam outside of the spam forum, the mods can delete it or move it to its rightful place.

Are you even serious? Do ya WANT to start a flame war? If spamming anywhere is against the rules, why would steet make a forum for spamming? Your basically requesting that a section to be made where members can break the rules. Now really, does that make any sense... I think NOT! It's just a place for members who are just begging to get banned to post. Might as well name it the 'Ban Meh, Please' forums.

No.
The only way spam forums work is if there is something to limit e.g. Forum points. That way people don't feel compelled to try and raise their post count, forum points etc. in a spam forum.
Also, we technically DO have a spam forum, forum games. ;]

I just come from wilder forums where swearing is allowed, debates on politics and religion are commonplace, and people are allowed to express their feelings and opinions in the general discussion section (other). Despite all this, the site stays under control, things rarely get out of hand, and the people are generally courteous.

Also, we technically DO have a spam forum, forum games. ;] thats sorta true, but rules are still applied, i like that section  and raging balto, ya gotta keep in mind that animationsource is a kid friendly forum. all the things you mentioned are against the rules here but i do understand it how the other forums stay in shape.

No, I believe it would enforce it on the contrary... The best way to write in a good way, is to write the same way everywhere. Why do you think many visitors have problems to write in a good way? Because they're used to writing SMS everywhere. And I'm sure these visitors have problems with spelling when writing at school, too. I don't want to give bad habits.
