Tell me what you think. I'm not very experienced with editing, but I tried.

Thanks. It was just kind of an experiment. As of this time, I have a Steele centered video posted (no effects, though) with Pantera's "Cowboys from Hell", and I am currently working on a Balto/Steele piece with Rage Against the Machine's "Know Your Enemy". I should have the latter ready around late tomorrow/early Sunday.

Wow, it looks like you've tried really hard. 8) Nice work...But **Constructive Criticism Incoming** it could use a little bit of flashes, that would be awesome :D Do you know how to put flashes? Its just (In Movie Maker) Effects---> Fade in From White. Good luck in your AMV-Making future! And nice job on your first one...Your already off to a good start.

Aaaaaaah, biiiiig no-no. Overuse of flashes is a deathly nightmare.

If you can't upgrade to something better than Windows Movie Maker, then I suggest you play around with these effects: Fade in from White, Fade in from Black, Fade out to White, Fade out to Black, Speed Up and Slow Down. Also you can download effects off moviemaker.net or something along the lines of that.

Also, KEEP EXPERIMENTING! It really halpz :]

Oh and some C&C: That song didn't really match the movie... so work on that and you'll be acing them in no time |D

I don't think it's so much the song didn't match the movie (Balto can really go with anything when you think about it), I think it's that the song didn't match the clips. That's what I'm probably working hardest to nail.

Nooooo... no. Balto can't go with just anything. A good video always has a song that matches the situation in the video well. It's hard to get clips/songs to match, I know, it'll be very trying at first, but *wisevoice* rewards shalle be great when ye do.

Got any suggestions for fitting songs (please, none of the garbage out today)?

Not really, I'm finding it hard to find a good song for a Balto video myself at the moment and sort of gave it up because I decided to focus a bit more on other movies and stuff  Do you have an iPod or another mp3 device? My first suggestion is probably go through there, listen to the lyrics, see if you can try and find a few since I usually do.

Maybe some Alice in Chains. The themes don't go with the movie, but the sound would fit it quite well.
