I'm just curious how you all feel about Steele. I love him but I am aware that not everyone does. I don't know if this has been done or not and If it has, please let me know.

Yeah I love his design too! :3 Even if he is bad, he was such a cool character.

Vampire Loves Rock- I totally agree! Steele may have been evil but he is such a cool character and there are so many cool villains out there!


NinjaMasterKenny- I’m not really offended and you have your rights to your opinion on him. He didn’t really have many good morals is a way to put his personality if you don't like him in a very brief nutshell.

He's a great character. I think he's the most interesting one out of all of the Balto characters. And the bamfest XD I think I'll go into detail later tho.

I hate Steele, hers 14 reasons why:

1: He bit that sled-dog’s paw so he could win the race,

2: Was always picking on Balto, and knocked Boris over,

3: Stole the sausages then made it look like Balto had stolen them and he was trying to catch him in the act,

4: Stamped on Ballot’s paw, to make him appear dangerous to humans,

5: Attacked Balto when Balto came to help, (I believe with the intention to kill him),

6: Tried to lead Balto off the trail (and I think to the cliff edge) just so that Balto didn’t get the glory when Steele had lost the chance to bring the medicine back,

7: Was mean to Star,

8: Didn’t listen to his musher on at least 2 occasions,

9: Probably intended to steal other dog’s bones (he said to Jenna: “I know where all the bones are buried”),

10: Wouldn’t leave Jenna alone when she obviously disliked him,

11: Lied about: Balto dieing, trying to bring the other sled-dogs back, and dragging the medicine alone,

12: Is stuck up,

13: Is selfish,

14: Obviously he cared nothing about the kids dieing from diphtheria,

Well, about Steele, I'm verry neutral on that fact. I find him the ultimate evil guy, verry diverend like the other evil guys in some other movies and that he come back in the fourth movie, but I don't care what came after him.

There are chars I hate more than him, and he dose need some attention, but I'm not the biggest of his fans.

Well, he's a great villain - I have to agree to that - but I'm not a die-hard fan of his. He's too selfish for my tastes, but he feels like a mirror image of Balto himself if you think about it . . .

- Steele is the lead dog of a sled team; Balto wants to be a lead dog on a sled team.

- Steele is a purebred; Balto is half-wolf, half-husky.

- Steele cares only about himself and will do whatever it takes to get what he wants; Balto shows compassion towards others, no matter how badly they treat him and he'll do whatever it takes to make things right.

. . . Okay, so they're not exactly mirror-images . . .

Still, at least he's a better villain than his wolf-clone Niju (in WQ). Ha!
