Whenever I draw a wolf or dog or many other kinds of animals, I ruin the lower legs and the feet.

I figured it out for lions (I think) but that and hooves is all I can do. I'm sure many other people have this problem, and I know the best thing is practice, but even if I do do them okay they look like they're floating in mid air (the characters). Any pointers, any ways any of you overcame this problem?

I found a good paw tutorial on deviant art. I think you'll like it...It's simple to understand and clear.

Here's the link :

I just draw the background last so it's not floating in mid-air. Try it out.

Hey Vivid... I can't describe very well, but I do have a few places you can look that ought to help you, some tutorials, some general pics with a good paw perspective, or something:
http://nightfell.deviantart.com/art/Paw ... 2-20132237
http://anuwolf.deviantart.com/art/Wolf- ... l-26378758
http://skia.deviantart.com/art/PAW-66008439
http://plaguedog.deviantart.com/art/White-Wolf-69821333

that's all I can take up right now... what you may want to do is bokmark some canine artists on deviantart, and watch them and study the paws and legs they draw.

Hope this helps,

~Koey
