This is sort of a "contest," but - at the same time - it's simple thing of "whose I like best."

So, I'm making this picture of an alert wolf. When it's finished, the picture will be fully (and realistically) detailed. I'm hoping that, once it's finished, it will gain me the attention and praise of local (and non-local) wolf sanctuaries. There's one in the neighboring town, Tilton, which is also my home town. I'm seriously wanting to go visit the wolves to slip in some live-action figure studies, pet a wolf, and maybe see some pups.

I really do love wolves. ^_^ They're my spirit totem (er, one of 'em). You can see the picture below.

So, what is the "challenge"? I don't feel like designing a woofer. So, I'm offering the Balto Sourcians (and DA artists, mind you!) the chance for their woofer (woofer design) to be temporarily famous. And, if I get contracted, turned into media!

The image is called Did You Hear That?, and shows a wolf looking at something as though it just made a strange noise (just see the picture below, will you?).

Requirements:

1.) The character must be of natural color and design.
2.) Must be pure wolf.
3.) Eyes can be any color.
4.) I'd prefer it if you made one up - that way, there's no copyrights being infringed if I make more copies and try to sell (plus, I don't want to track you down to have you sign a stinking release, anyway).
5.) You can use a character you "don't want," but I do ask that the character be inactive so there's no theft accusations on the internet community.

In the end, I may or may not do it. But, I want to see what I'll get so I can be my lazy self.

You can use my character Loki. I don'y have a picture of him, unfortunately, but he's pretty easy. He's a grey wolf cub who (as his name suggests) likes to get into mischief.

this is real neat Kirada.. such a good idea .. i have a charrie, although i don't draw her.. or draw in that fact since i'm not good.. so the idea is we can point it out the colours and markings and you might do it ? (if i'm correct sorry if i'm a little confused i'm quiet exhausted atm )

You guys will NOT use my image to create your character. It's up to you to make your own! I posted that directly above the picture in red font.

You can, however, use lineart as well to make your character. But you will NOT USE MY PICTURE.

btw Kirada if you'd like you can add more white or black markings for the picture if you do use her.. since she looks kind of plain for you.. anyways ye have fun doing it looks great too

here i based one of my chars off of an actual wolf and i dont need him anymore i was just practicing.

I don't know how to insert an image from my computer, and my connection seems not to like the main site much lately. So I can't say when I'll be able to post a picture of Loki.
