Have any of you ever watched a sequel and thought it was better than the original? Here are some I think were better than the originals,
1. The Godfather 2
2. Aliens (Alien 2)
3. Terminator 2
4. Toy story 2
5. Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade (The third one)

its rare but it does happen. the last parrites of the caribiean was ALOT better then the first it rocked! When this happens you know the movie makers are doing their job

i love the last pirates of the carribean too! but it does bug me when they make acouple good movies and then just rip off a bunch more for money. or when they take a classic kids movie like lady & the tramp and then ten years later make a new one. but i DO think that they are going to make another pirates. what will poor orlando bloom do all alone on the island? or his wife as the pirate king? it had excellent special effects. my favourite part was in the whirlpool at the end. or when the voodoo lady turned giant and exploded(sory if i ruined it for those of you who haven't seen it yet.) anyway, all in all it was an awesome movie. it has pretty lyrics too. just turn on subtitles and write them down so that you can sing it to annoy your family and friends! my favourite kids movie is nightmare before christmas. oh well, i guess you won't want to hear about my endless singing of "this is halloween", so i'll get going.

Is it okay if I list sequels that are just as good (in my opinion) as their originals?

The only sequel I consider better than the first is "Charlie the Unicorn 2", but that's just a web cartoon.

the end was my favoriet and when elizibeth and (i forget orlando's character's name) were getting married by the captain while they were fighting. There's a fall out boy cover of the "This Is Halloween" that sounds fantastic you've gotta search youtube tho. I dont think they should make another Parriates of the Carribean. It's safe for us to make up fan fics about what happens next. The ending was great and their kid was cute.

In my opinion, the original is always the best. The sequels just screws up the original one.

PotC3 was definitely better than the original.

Ermm... Lord of the Rings Return of the King was also much better than Fellowship of the Ring... not many really. But I think the reason LOTR3 is above the first is because the third one is just an epicdemic.

The only thing that comes to mind for me is Empire Strikes back.

i just saw the incredible hulk today at the movies, that movie kicked the original movie's (hulk) butt!

Truth! Anyway, the Pirates of the Carribean trilogy got better and better with each movie, not to mention Lion King 2 was right up their with the first one.

very true about the lion king. but the second hulk movie had MUCH more updated graphics than the first.

their character's kid yeah the secound time orlando viset elizibeth has a son i dont wanna give out many details cause im not sure whos seen the film or not

now that i think of it, the only exception is the LOTR movies. The third one was way better than the other two. Other than that, i still think the sequel sucks.
