Ever played one guys? I've played 8, 9 and 12 string models and the 12 string was wicked cool.


if so, mind telling and if you have a web link of the maker that please share!

I stick to 4, mainly because its a more classic bass feel and secondly to many strings would be confusing. The bassist from Alien Ant Farm plays a 12 string, sounds real nice but for me its always gunna be a 4 string... anymore and your tryin to be a guitarist

Speaking of basses I'm quite gutted as I dusted off my electric bass for a bit of a jam today and found out that the strings are way way low. Somehow the bridge has moved and ive got no action now, if I play any of my strings from the first to fifth fret the string just stops on the fret board. Which means I'm gunna have to move the bridge back to raise the strings, which is lame cause I have no tools, not even a screwdriver >.<

Oh yeah back to topic, 4-strings all the way!
Although 12-strings do look pretty badass

i agree with Squival .. anymore strings you basically got a guitar right there.. and 11 string bass's exist too and here's a link to one .. and i think after a 5 or 6 string bass.. they call it a bass guitar .. and you just end up finger tapping when you reach i think 9 strings lol quite odd
