I HATE ****!!

Alright, so, slightly misleading title. The **** is meant to represent a character name.

Now to rant...

I am personally getting more than a bit bored by all the "character hate" floating around here these days, specifically aimed at either Aleu, Kiara, Stella, Steele, Zira or Scar and sometimes Niju.

WHY?

For crying out loud!! Alright, so, you don't like said character(s) but why say you "hate" them? Why hold such an irrational hatred toward a fictional character?
It just makes no sense and is becoming a bit more than just annoying!

The worst is when a member posts a topic such as "I hate Aleu!!" and then a member who likes her posts and says why they like her and don't like people saying they 'hate' and said member is then flamed and laughed at just because they like that particular character.
Most only joined the "I hate Aleu" band-wagon after they heard 'popular' members of this site didn't like her as a character or didn't like the movie, I personally find it completely pointless...

You like a character: Good!
You don't like a character: Fair enough, tell us why, it's interesting.

But DON'T carry on about how much you "hate" said character and flame those who do like them!

A lot of this would be solved if people stayed to their own topics and didn't look for trouble.

I think it is annoying when people hate characters they can have opinions but they should not ruin it for other people or rant about it

Well, I don't care if people hate a character as long as there is reasoning behind it...There are characters I dislike, but I have good reasons and my own opinions about them.

Are you saying that, if people posted all the hate topics about Balto or Lion King characters they ever wanted, and those who are bothered by hate topics simply stayed totally away and allowed them to vent their spleens ad nauseum, then it would all work out for the best? How is that fair or right? It doesn't solve the problem at all.

I'm not saying that at all - but part of the problem is also people looking for trouble by entering these threads knowing full well what they're gonna get, not just the fact these topics exist. If you'd just stop taking things out of context :roll:

I agree! I really am getting tired with this, its the same with GDW and Balto 2! People say I hate Weed!!! or I hate Alue!!!!!! To say you don't like the char is one thing but to really hate the character is another thing. How can you possibly hate a certain character that never even hurt anyone?
