Love it? Hate it? Like the book better? Express opinions here.

Personally, I think they took a little of the spirit of the book away by animating it. And how DARE they give Silverweed's poem to Cowslip!
I also don't like the part where Holly explains what happened to Sandleford. That traumatized me as a little kid.

Did you all know they have a TV Series of it now, in UK?

The book is better, but I think that the film adaptation is, for the most part, very well done. While there are some problems with the pacing and accuracy, I feel that the movie does capture most, if not all of the spirit of the book.

I also like the TV series. Sure, it's not as dark as the book and it is more geered towards kids, but I feel that it is a wonderful way to introduce young fans to the world of the novel.

The movie was well animated. I don't like Hazel's voice, he sounds a little old. Fiver was good.

I like the TV series, too! I think the episode "The Easy Life" was the best one, though the timing was all off. Have you noticed, the design of Blackberry from the movie seemed to be the base for Hazel in the show.

Sort of, although I haven't seen the series in ages.
