JerseyCaptain wrote: In fact, while they're certainly amazing and social animals, they are also typical of any animal that organizes by nature into troops, packs or other organizational elements. If you have been watching Meerkat Manor in detail, you'd see that they are also capable of a natural ruthlessness and savagery. So let's not paint them as those cute, fuzzy-wuzzy innocent wittle animals, gang. They are indeed fascinating animals. But they are also harsh little beasts living in a very harsh environment. Nature creates that harshness, perhaps, out of necessity due to the circumstances of the environment in which they live.
But let's not anthropomorphize them, or reimagine them as anything except what they actually are. Well i know. I love Meerkat manor. I do know they fight exc exc. But they are very very very intelligent creatures.

Yeah, meerkats aren't exactly helpless little animals that dig tunnels all day. They are close-knit, intelligent and savage little beasts which can present an intimidating front when confronted. Despite their cute appearence, they are very militaristic animals.

That is what i'm saying. They look cute but inside the fur they can be nasty buggers.

I just want to spoil you "Meerkat Manor" Fans. If you are emotional person i think you should read this before you see it. Flower Dies.Yes, that is correct. The Meerkat who had around 12 litters in 4 years to expand the whiskers family, didn't die in battle, didn't die of old age. She died saving her pups. And she didn't die in vain. A Strong leader and a nurtering mother. The desert moarns her as the Deserts GREATEST EVER leader of a group dies. The desert kills, what it made.
R.I.P Flower - Dominant Female/Alpha Female of the Whiskers pack.
Good Bye, Flower. And that is all i wanted to say, Good Bye Flower. My Official Statement to Flower: Quote: Dear Flower, You was honestly my favorite in that programm, as as you look from heaven, you can tell that i did care for you. Not phisicly but you know that you didn't die in vain. You saved your pups, and there babysitters. And they will thank you for that. You was a great leader. The best, and i know that. You lived with the pressure for 4 years. When your doughter couldn't last a month. That is a sign of true leader. And that you where, a Meerkat that should be rememberd there forever. Your legend will move on, you saved your pups. So when the new dominant takes charge and has her pups. She will speak of you, as a true hero. (I just hope they arnt as easy to get as they seem...). You wasn't just a great leader, you was a great mother. And if you hadn't of gone down there your pups would of died. So anyway goodbye Flower, i'll miss you.
Yours Sincerely Conor Jackson-James Your greatest fan, and lover (Not the mate kind). The part where i put not the mate kind is not on the letter, but i've decided to fund myself to the desert to lay flowers for a Flower. At the place she died. To than probably be chased by 50 Meerkats.

Well, i watched a video on Animal Planet website, and they did say when Flower died. They all felt cold, the clouds went it was like when she died the desert lost its heat. All the experts just felt cold, one of them i heard started crying. 6 years on the show. 4 years as Dominant. It was just the distruction of the desert. But if i cant get to where she died, i will attempt to just randomly lay it in the sand, where her ashes where scatterd accross.
