Move it to an other forum if I'm on the wrong forum.
Well, while I was surfing on an other forum I saw that Disney was an perfect company that would bring Balto to an fourth film, but I have an other pros for if Universal would sell it to Disney. Disney has made from an couple of their awardwinning films some tv-series, were I am a little allergic from it. An they made also games from their latest films, so I think that Disney would handle Balto better than Universal, but the cons are that the fourth movie will be terrible animation, just as they did to the sequel of Lilo and Stich, (I hate that movie, BTW) and the tv-series will be intended for an smaller audience, just as the (personal)terrible tv-series of the 101 Dalmatians.
So, that's my pros and cons of when Universal sould the rigths of Balto to Disney, Comment if readed.

...mmm...Balto IV by Disney? I don't know...it can be an idea but for me Universal have to make Balto's fourth movie not Disney...Universal made all the 3 movies and why not the forth? Disney is good and I like Disney's movies but for me Balto (animated, not the real) is an Universal character and not Disney's...maybe Disney can make a better work than Universal but I like Universal's Balto version...

This is not realistic, not going to happen anytime soon. I can't decide if it would be a good thing or not though. Maybe if Disney took the rights to the Balto franchise, they should start with a good special edition dvd for the original film. Disney has stopped making direct-to-video sequels anyway, so...

Don't be fooled, this is probably just an internet rumor, the thought Universal would sell one of it's best animated franchises is unrealistic at best. If Disney where to buy it they would create a sequel every single year just for the cash, they stopped making good animated films years ago. Now it's quantity over quality, not the other way around.

@Kenneth: They've actually stopped making DTV sequels.
Universal would obviously hold on to the series in the first place until they can get as much as they can from it, for a start. But if Disney released a new Balto movie it would have to be a theatrical release.

Yes but there are still those terrible Disney Channel Original Movies that go straight to DVD after being aired a few times on Disney Channel. High School Musical and HSM 2, Minute Men, Cheetah Girls and CG 2, That movie about the kid who jumps rope, etc.

I'm sure that Disney would have some good ideas for a Balto 4, but it's not a good idea to leave the drawing of Balto's character to them. After all, Universal made Balto and I think they would make the movie best. Sure the movie would be more interseting if Disney handled it, but it wouldn't look like the original Balto. That's my opinion
