I mean, really! Seriously. Think about it. Think how much better or worse would WoC be if Stella never made it into the animation?

It would be soo much better! Stella totally ruined the movie. Instead of putting her in they could have put in a better character, like Balto's dad, or maybe Togo.

This is true, but Balto didn't even know Boris was on the plane until after he decided to go after that one guy anyway, so not much would need to be changed. Plus if the movie didn't focus so unnecessarily on Boris and Stella, they could've focused more on Dusty and Ralph like they intended. And I think we'd all agree that kids would be more interested in a younger couple than an older one. When I was a kid, I didn't even see Boris as the type to have ANY sort of love interest. He was just a funny uncle-y often-inspiring character XD

It would be so much better off without her. The song she sang was horid(I always skip that scene), the only good part in there is when she is ablling her eyes (the exaggerations in the eyes and her posture gets me laughing everytime). Wish I could post the pic but couldn't find one.

well personally I liked Stella a I don't think the movie wold have been better without her. However her song was annoying and I think they should have used that for more time on other characters-such as: Kody and his team-mates , Duke, Jenna and some old characters from the previous movies.

Well, as much as I disliked her presence in the film, I believe that Stella's absence from WoC would have probably made it better.

Although, you have to admit it - her character added a slight bit of mature humor (with her design for one thing . . . her personality for another) to the Balto franchise. Also, thanks to her being with Balto in search of Boris, we learned exactly how much Boris meant to the hybrid (although . . . it was rather obvious to us fans the whole time, right?).

However, with her being a stranger to Nome and having her simply falling head over heels in love with the old gander so soon at the start of the film really made the whole focus of returning to the whole dog-sledding sport rather useless. Besides, I thought the point of the third film was to return to Balto's sledding roots through the addition of Kodi (With the whole "Wings of Change" being about Balto's fascination with Duke and his bush plane, not the flapping wings of Boris and Stella's blooming relationship)!

And I agree with Cat: The omitting of Stella would have most likely added more time to see a possibly canon shipping of Dusty/Ralph, which has been made rather official (although many fans would rather have Kodi with Dusty . . . I'm neutral on the subject, so don't ask).

And yes, Jenna still needed more screen time . . . as did Kodi. Heck, I'd rather see more of the bears than Stella in WoC . . . or maybe the pilot and the rest of the team. (Or . . . let's go for a couple of long-shots: Rosy and that annoying terrier from WQ! LOL)

But yeah, Stella was a bit useful in the scenes that she made a difference in, but it was rather unnecessary altogether. This is why I watch WQ more than WoC . . . sadly.

The idea for a love intrest for Boris was kind of a good idea but was handled poorly, Stella and Boris had nothing in common except species. I would of maybe used Stella's screen time to have Jenna maybe set up the 'Northern Lights' to guide Balto and Kodi home or maybe just Balto later. I also might of used it to provide a love intrest for Kodi, who in a matter should of had a FAR bigger role in the movie. Another scene that could of been in place of hers was showing more of Kodi's attempts to become a lead dog like he wanted to be, in fact that was totally forgotten after he mentioned he wanted to become lead dog, so I think that would of been a far better subplot for the film than the Boris/Stella thing.

I've often wondered if Zazu's girlfriend Binti had made it in the Simba's Script would she have turned out like Stella..

I didn't like Stella. I saw how she effected the plot, like cat pointed out. But to be frank, she was a shameless flirt (to put it politely).

Well, I kinda liked Stella but without her, it would be a better movie I have to admit. Then Borris wouldn't of gotten chased onto the plane and they could replace that part where Balto, Muk, Luk, and Stella go looking for him with something else better. Maybe even Steele's return could replace the scenes with Stella. Who knows?Yes!
