It played in select theaters across America for two nights this week (May 20th and 21st), and two friends and I went to see it on the 20th. I LOVED IT! All of the characters, appearance-wise, were spot on, and the dub was fantastic! Not to mention the CGI Ryuk, who had some great lines. It also differed greatly from the manga/anime, particularly with an incredibly unique twist near the end.

When's it gonna be on DVD? 'Cause I don't know if it was in my theater!
