Yeah..That's really annoying. The mass amount of large images and animations do slow down my computer quite a bit...And I think froze it once.

I think the images that are ok are pictures of yourself, your family or you pet. Just..not a whole photo album XD

I've seen profiles with like 15 pictures of random wolves (real one) that say these are my pack members. GAH...That is just useless. If you MUST show your pack members, don't post pictures of ALL of them. Just post a link to their profile.

You're not supposed to have images you don't have permission for on your profiles (it goes against the art theft rule). If you see such, notify the mods and we will take care of it.

I've got to ask, are photographs that don't belong to the person not allowed as well?

tsauggh, i dont have dial-up, so i dont face this problem. but yeah, i have expirenced "the-never-ending-picture-profile" thing you mentioned with tons and i mean TONS of crap like naruto,pokemon,and many different rock bands pics that were all just copied and pasted like the person searched for all this stuff and copy/pasted EVERY single pic they thought was cool;amazing;sexii;cute;awesome;random etc etc. etc. into the profile. noteto these people: noone really cares about the long list of pictures YOU thought were interesting becuase get this, if they WERE, they would have googled it, clicked on it and gone "Woah, what a purdy pichur, thats gonna go on muy myspace tonite!" or done the same thing YOu did and pasted it their profiles themselves. to summerize it, 3-6 pics is ok, anything above about 10- your pushing it man-delete all that crap you fricken packrats!!

This is annoying. Especially when it is photo's in the profiles who are huger than mout everest. Seriously..

I don't look at profiles often, but I don't think it's such a problem anymore anyway.

Confirmed, but Funky_Dog, you do bring up a point and thus prevents the rule for being truly broken. As long as you're not posting spam and there isn't a newer topic on the specific subject, Topic Necromancy is allowed to an extent (first three pages are fair game).
However, because the original poster and his/her post have been deleted, I will be locking this topic.
