Hey I wanted to know what is your favorite type of wolf is. My personal favorite is the gray wolf. It is the biggest of all wolves and may come in many different colors. What's yours?

Well, there really is only one kind of wolf, the grey wolf - canis lupus. All of the others are subspecies, for example: canis lupus arctos - Arctic Wolf canis lupus arabica - Arabian Wolf canis lupus familiaris - Domestic dog If I were to pick my favourite subspecies, it would probably be either the Arctic Wolf or the European Wolf:

well there is also the maned wolf, the ethopian wolf, and some others, but I forgot what they were called.

there is waaayy more wolves than that there is  grey wolves maned wolves (my fave) red wolves arctic wolves etheopian wolves arabian wolves and many more

But i've seen a picture, a very old picture of one of last remain'ing dire wolves about 90 years ago, i know it was black and white but they painted it and the wolf looked lovely. I dont know what comes after canis lupus for this breed though. The Grey Wolf - canis lupus They are my 3 favorite. And at my house in Alaska i do own 2 Grey Wolves.
