I hate it when some people tell who the person is that is copying their character or making look alikes, makes a rant topic about it so that everyone will witness... Or even just making a rant about stealing their so called characters. I think this matter should be discussed in pms by mods to help solve the problem instead of playing the blame game, would you agree? That would be the grown up way of handling art theft or character theft instead of trying to hamuliate the person neh?Sorry but I have seen quite abit of these topics that just get annoying...anybody else agree?Feel free to post your opinon.

Such topics aren't even allowed anyway.

However, I will give someone a bit of a nudge if their design is too close to another fairly known character's, since it happens all the time, ESPECIALLY in the Adoption forum. In which cases people claim they've never seen the character... despite having posts in the original design's artist's galleries/threads anyway...

I think these people deserve to be pointed out, especially if they're GETTING credit for a character they "supposedly" made up and its EXCRUCIATINGLY obvious and people STILL can't tell the difference between the real thing and a clone. This not only goes for art, but ideas as well.

It particularly irks me when people try pawning these characters off to others, but hey, I think they deserve the recognition they earn. If you're dumb enough to copy a character publicly and get GOOD recognition, you have every right to get bad recognition for it.
