I like this game and my dad got the new one. Grand Theft Auto IV. I have Grand Theft Auto III, Vice City, Sanandreas, Liberty City Stories, Vice city stories, and Grand theft auto IV.

I used to be really obssessed with this game but then I got tired of all the swearing, murdering, glitches, etc. and so now I just think it's a boring game, I still play it when I'm really really really bored though. I only have Liberty City and Vice City (but I also played San Andres, or whatever it's spelled like  )

Grand Theft Auto 4 is possibly the most innovative game of the decade and has gained a lot of critical acclaim scoring perfect tens on both Gamespot and IGN. The series has featured complete freedom, customization, incredible stories, great music, unusual but still memorable characters,--and in more recent games--revolutionary online play and realism. What more could you ask for in a video game? To me each and every GTA is well worth the price, there's no doubt GTA4 will end up on several critics "Best Game of The Year" lists right next to Fable 2 and Spore. If developers continue to give us titles such as these I'm sure we're in for a pretty big year for gaming. Now if you'll excuse me I need to get back to GTA4, I estimate in about 4 more months of non-stop play I'll almost be done with the game.

GTA 4 is the best one though. My dad saw me playing sanadreas and he said that looks so un-realistic compared to GTA 4.

Yeah, Rockstar really improved the series graphics and game play. That kind of innovation is what makes them such great developers.

There were many great improvements in GTA:IV that were not in previous games. Physics for one are much improved- as bodies have been added with ragdoll physics and cars no longer stop in 20 feet or do 180's precisely. All characters are modeled well and have a large variety spread throughout Liberty City. Vehicle damage is a huge improvement- as scrapes, hits, or collisions can impact both performance and cosmetically. A list could go on, but I must say that few games really impress me, and GTA:IV is certainly one of them.

Sanandreas is hilarious!!
especailly when you go on 2 player and put on billions of cheats!!!
like the flying car cheat and when police chase you, you can just fly off into the sunset!!
and when you make people in the streets go crazy! so funny!

The gameplay is okay, but the truth is (I'm shooting from the hip) I don't want to play it the second time, really, somehow all the violence, gore and swearing had terribly bored me to death, I'm just not used to all that stuffs, like I always say "I'm a lover, not a fighter.", violence ain't my stuff, sorry...

I like this game, I got it about a month back and have played it periodically. I have it for the 360. It's fun, I like it. There seems to be a lot to do. The multiplayer is great too, but it's so difficult to find people online.

Nope. Although it is an excellent game, it feels so scaled down compared to San Andreas. Plus the driving in it, which is suppossed to be the emphasis on the game, is not good. Ironically it felt like the Rockstar team had tried so hard on everything else that the driving controls where an after thought... in other words rubbish. Overall it is still a great game, but just a little over hyped.
