Just curious but what happened to baltos dad? if they made a balto 4 it should be a prequel about balto and his dad that would be the most awesome balto movie EVER!!

It never says. All you can rely on is theories. Mine is that since his mother was a wolf, his mother and father never lived together. Who knows, maybe he's still alive...

to me I would make a sequel and have Alue and Kody meet Balto's dad as well as Aniu come and Jenna and Balto meet Balto's dada too. wouldn't that also be cool?

my guess is that they left him out of the whole series so the watcher (you) can keep guessing who he was and what he was like...
