I remember a Steele <3 Jenna phase at this forum a few months back. There were topics asking things like, "Should Jenna marry Steele?" and stuff like that. In general, stuff like that which has zero chance of ever happening.

What's the reason people talk about it? It doesn't bother me, I'm just curious.

Well this is a fan site and we're talking about a fictional timeline of three movies and hopefully there will be a forth. That means us fans can assume anything about it we want because its fiction, unless you're a supporter of the theory some scientists hold where all things humans imagin exist in an alternate universe, which would be really cool if it was true cuz Balto would really be like this here...sorry for getting off track. What I'm saying is we're free to guess What Ifs and guess anything we find intresting so that's the long anwser that basically says what's already been said only in an overly complicated and unneserily long way...thanks for your time. :D

If we just talked about canon things, it'd get very boring very quickly.

I mean really, there's only so much canon stuff you can talk about.

I think if people only talked about jenna and balto all the time, It would get boring rather quickly. I mean I am a jenna/Steele,Balto/Jenna,Aleu/Kodi,/Kodi/Dusty, and Kiryb/Kodi fan. That doesnt make us bad people to talk about canon couples right? The cat and kendell have said its fun and interesting^^

This I disagree with. People always manage to bring new light to the discussion whenever a rottweiler, pit bull, and german shepherd debate sparks on the Animals forum, don't they? People notice new things as time goes by, and opinions can change when others shed their own.

Yeah, those are real life animals. These are cartoons. People who stay 100% canon only work with what they see. And there's again only so much you can do with canon. Its opinion. Most people find non-canon just as interesting if not more interesting than canon. Because there's more you don't see that you're allowed to think about. And sometimes if people keep "finding" things about canon things in movies like Balto, chances are people are thinking too deep into it (EX. DUSTY LOOKED AT KIRBY SO IT MUST BE LOVE, etc etc)

EDIT: And just for the sake of argument (not the bad kind) if someone's gonna throw the "ITS MORE THAN A CARTOON TO ME! THEY'RE REAL! REAL I SAY" bit at me, then its all the more reason to think non-canon  I'd go into further detail, but then I'd be repeating myself.

Heh, you have a point, but even if they're real life animals, most of the discussion about BSL and the like on the animals forum is just talking circles. They pretty much settled with that.

The fact that it's a cartoon is why I take it so seriously. I'm more adamant about the movie than the real story.

Alright, I have another explaintion here that will ether help or be very confusing. Now yes there is the events that ocur in the film, thats true, but there are things that are HINTED to of happened, such as Balto's being seperated from his mother and the fact that Aniu is a spirit hints Aniu must have died and thus most people think that Aniu dieing is somehow connected to Balto being seperated from her. Then their is Balto's father who is thought to be a sled dog due to Balto's obcession with sled racing. Besides the stuff that happened, there are things that could've happened. Think of it as a timeline that the movies fit in. Then there are the what ifs, such as 'what if Jenna and Steele got togather', no offense to anyone but I don't think that would ever happen, what ifs are questions and questions are human nature, and plus, without what ifs, Balto really wouldn't of been made because the writers thought 'what if Balto was really a wolfdog, and what if...', the real Balto is very diffrent than the cartoon verson, so does that make them bad people? No, it makes a great story.
