Animation Source Forums

First of all, if this topic is posted in the wrong area, please accept my deepest apologies and move it.

I've been talking with someone by the name of Daniel (dpstq) from YouTube for a couple of days, discussing a little event he has planned on doing this winter.

This event would be the first ever fan screening of the first Balto movie! This could make fan history of Balto!

It will be located at a library in Clearwater, Florida.

Our information on what is really going to happen is still fuzzy, so he and I will update this event as much as possible.

30 people would be the ideal amount to come for now, and you will have to make sure you WILL come.

We will need your names to write down and give the library the information on how many people will attend. Also, we will be providing food and drinks.

We are trying to set the date on Dec. 22nd this year, as it would feel more like an anniversary for Balto.

People should arrive at the library no later than 6:00pm. While we wait for everyone to come, we will be discussing Balto-related subjects. After the movie, we will attempt to discuss Balto for another hour or so.

THIS WILL ONLY HAPPEN IF YOU WILL COME!

We have to raise a total of $700 in order to do this. I've already applied for a couple of summer jobs as Daniel did as well.

If you can donate even a dollar, this would help a great deal.

Please send all donations by paypal to [email protected]

If you really want to come, PLEASE message me on Balto Source or contact dpstq on YouTube. You can contact me on YouTube as well but I'd prefer this website.

The deadline to contact us will be in October. The first people that are already accounted for by October will be chosen to go.

Also, if you have any Balto merchandise or memorobilia that you'd like to bring, go ahead and bring it as long as you can carry it!

Here is a video he created yesterday to give some proper information.

As I said before, information is likely to change so we'll be updating as much as possible on YouTube and hopefully on Balto Source! Thank you!

I will probably not be able to come, BUT I will make a great attempt to donate for the event, that I can promise.

of 2007 or 2008?

Eh, 2007 is gone. He means 2008. That's pretty cool, because it's the day after my birthday

Sweet! I've been to clearwater fl, before. Anyway, I don't think I'll be there. Fl is a longway from, MI.

I live in Florida but I think I'm too young to come... (I'm 12)

Can someone say Road trip, lol. Sorry had to say it, anyways it sounds interesting but I'm a little to far away, only like 1500 miles.
