That's pretty strange...
A few people stated that since some time, the site takes very long to load; although it seems to work fine for most people (including me...on the contrary, the site is pretty fast to me...and I have changed nothing in my connection)
It seems to only occur on the site pages and not on the forum pages.
So I'm interested to know if some other people have the same problems, and for the people who have this problem, tell me your configuration (especially the version and type of your internet browser) and what exactly happens.

One minute?? Even with a 56K connection, that's not normal...
Changing to another page takes me less than one second, and I haven't got the highest speed connection possible...
Tell me :
- Version of your browser (for ex : Internet explorer 5.5, Mozilla 1.0...)
- When did it start exactly
- Type of connection you have
- Does it happen on all the site pages? not on the forums? same speed issues on Lion king source?

That's not a browser...You probably use Internet explorer then, but which version? (click on "?" and then "About internet explorer" to know the version.)

I used to use that, but it was always slow to load. Several other things I didn't like about it too.
I switched over to FireFox, it actually shows that things are loading instead of loading everything at once.

So it's possible to browse with msn?? I've learned something today...I'll try that to see how the site work, then.
Anyway, for people having speed issues, here are a few things you should try :
- remove the cookies on your browser
- try another browser (Internet explorer, or better : Firefox)
- check if you haven't got spywares or viruses on your computer...(but in that case, all sites would be slow)

Msn is just a fancied up version of i.e. It has more eye candy and has shortcuts to msn and hotmail. The only way to use it is to become an msn user aka Qwest customer. :-/

I've got a msn account, I just don't use it...
Well maybe this is not the problem. (and either way, the site should work correctly on it too)
Quote: o forgot how to delete my cookies how do you do it?
With Internet explorer : tools -> options -> delete the cookies. I don't think you can delete only one cookie with IE though

Browser- Internet Explorer 6.0.
Problem started- For my, it started the day of the site update that would make it load faster.
Connection- (I have no clue where to get this)
Happening-
--All pages on Balto Source.
--Same problem on Lion King Source.
--No problems with the forum.

Mmm...The problem is not Internet explorer, since I have this version and it works perfectly.
What does it do exactly? You say that it takes long to load, but does it display the whole page at once, or by little bits? More important : does it reload the images every time you change the page?
Have you got similar problems with other sites?
Could you still try another browser (firefox) to see if it resolve the problem?
Have you tried deleting your cookies and cache?
Also, it's strange that it does that for Lion King Source too, since I haven't made most changes there yet...

It would load the background, then it would wait to load the rest of the stuff then it will show it.
I really don't think this is the problem because it was like that before the update and it worked fine.

Yes, it dose reload all the images every time I change the page.
Have you got similar problems with other sites?
Nope, just BS and LKS. Though I don't see why it would do the same thing to LKS unless that got the update as well.
Could you still try another browser (firefox) to see if it resolve the problem?
Nope, the only browser that I'm able to use is I.E. 6.0 (home computer) and I.E. 5.0 (school computers)
Have you tried deleting your cookies and cache?
Not yet... let me do that now...
