Okay...so I finally got time at school. Here is the bio I promised...
Name: Fia (pronounced FAY-ah, but is now known only as Masquerade)
Age: 2 years
Gender: female
Personality:
Before--> very friendly, outgoing, curious, loving, caring, funny, smart, and just a regular sort of tomboy.
After--> shy, not necessarily timid, just cautious. Likes to keep to herself, often very mysterious. Doesn't like people, dogs, or wolves to get to close to her. Although she seems fragile, she has a thich, cold, steel core. If someone messes with her, or with others who are weaker than their attackers, she rushes to their/her own defense. She has learned to be a very good fighter (can easily hurt the opponent, hardly ever gets hurt herself). Often soft-spoken. Very intelligent, graceful, and agile.
Parents: Alex and Bella (both dead), but considers Bullet to be her "true father". (it will all make sense in the History section)
Mate: none (yet...who knows what the Fates have in store for her)
Likes: Not much anymore. Bullet was her only real friend. She likes being by herself, lounging in her cave, spying on the town below the hill where her cave is located, songs/singing, practicing her arts.
Hates: getting to close (physically and mentally) to others, having to leave Bullet by himself (the old coot), what her past was like.
Fears: Never being able to escape her past, Never seeing Bullet again, and Never finding the one true love that will make her abandon at last the mask that hides both the scars of the past and the pieces of her broken heart.
Wants: Love eventually, but right now she just wants to be left alone.
Pups: none
Why I want it: I'm new here, and need to get some animals together for my fanfics. I already have one girl (Shalini), but I think Masquerade will be well-taken care of. I have absolutely no intentions of abusing her, ignoring her, or killing her off.
History : Little is known about Fia's/Masquerade's past due to the fact that she doesn't like talking about herself. Here is the truth behind the mask:
Fia was the youngest out of a litter of six born to Alex (a black/tan husky) and Bella (a grey/white wolf). Alex had been a champion sled-dog, until an accident side-lined him permanently (he even walked with a limp afterwards). The accident somehow changed Alex, and he began to take his fustrations out on his mate, Bella. One day, he became so violent (he had sneaked into a human's house looking for food, but somehow managed to find only the liquor cabinet) that he not only beat Bella, but also the children. In his rage (and liquor-induced paranoia), he believed that Bella was actually a demon who had caused his downfall and the children were little imps bent on torturing him in Hell. He slaughtered his mate and five pups, and chased after his lone surviving daughter. Fia (only 6 months old at the time) tried desperately to fight back, but being so young was quickly pinned down. Her father was about to strike the death blow to her throat, when suddenly out of nowhere, a grey/silver blur shot out of the woods and pounced on Alex. After a brief yet bloody battle, Alex was dead. The old wolf then turned to the badly injured (and by now unconscious) pup. He carried her to his cave, and began to nurse her wounds. Fia managed to survive, thanks to the care, patience, and treatment of Bullet (the old wolf's name), but ended up with scars on her face and muzzle that constantly remind her of the horrific past. Bullet taught her the art of fighting (only to defend, not destroy), the art of healing, and the ancient ways of the wolf. He also taught her how to survive in the wild, and how to be self-suffient. Bullet was her only true friend, and he seemed to be a real father figure for her (plus, he was the only one who really loved her despite her scars). After she turned two, Bullet felt that she should go out into the world, and so he presented her with a mask (he had gotten from a nearby town) as a gift to remember him by.
Pic: I'll have to come back to this later. You see, I write the stories while my friend draws the pictures. As soon as she's not busy drawing my other character, I'm sure she'll be delighted in drawing Masquerade.
P.S. This is not my best work, but all I could do in the time allowed. I was afraid that if I didn't post now, by the time I got to it I'd be too late to have a chance at Masquerade. Silly of me, huh? Anyway, good luck placing Masquerade in a good home!
