Animation Source Forums

Though I will read nearly anything, the two plot topics that really catch my eye are stories (esspecially Balto fics) that are 'slightly controversial' for whatever reason (language, mature content, violence) and flashback/character developement stories!

Slightly controversial fics I've read:
Balto: A Broken Trust
Balto: Darkness
Balto: When A Mistake Is Made
-Though these are all by the same author, I make no implications to his/her writing style or preference.

Fb/Cd stories:
Romeo and Juliet
Hyaku-Legger's series on the site
Who She Is and Memories by Rotramel
TameWolf03's series
We Are Family by Nick
Introduction: A Second Chance by redwolf03

I have also read many others that I did not include in the interest of space. These were simply the one's I thought off first.
I am not trying to pick favorite authors as everyone who works at it and is pleased with his/her own work is a great writer in my opinion!

Also please note that my categories are not perfect. If a change should be made, tell me.

I think the controversal ones have an intrigue that pulls me in. Sure...I've been left a little disturbed, not disturbed in bad ways, with some of his work, and I think that is a good thing. When a piece of work affects the reader like that, it means that what that writer wrote touched the reader in ways. That is what i beleive.

I'm not saying I am not afan of the other kinds, but it brings a sense of realism and humbleness to the plate. I dunno exactly how to explain it, it just is. haha im not good at persuasion.

I voted love/relationship plot, the others pretty good too

I call myself "Adventure Fox" for one very good reason... (the name gives it all ) I love the Adventure/Action genre.
I love all types of Adventure/Action things, from short stories and novels to games and RPing to just plain old imagination.

I voted flashback/Character Development. I like thinking up character's past.

Now that you mention it: A lot of times there are stories and games that are a flashback/Character Development and Adventure/Action mix.

Those types of stories and games are always fun.

So I'm a "slightly controversial" writer am I?"
No, that's a pretty good decription of me. I like to push the envelope of what's acceptable, to ride the fense, and take my readers down a path they may not nescasarily want to travel at first, but at the end are glad they did.

On a different topic, I get my new computer today! (Finally)
So (barring some unatural phenemenon) Balto: Balto's Journey SHOULD be done by Monday.
At least that's what I'm hoping.
Right now it's sitting at 100 pages, and I think I've got about twenty more in it.
Anyway, that's the update on that. All of you keep up the great work, and sorry if I seem to distance myself from the site off and on, but I'm REALLY busy.
Hopefully I'll have internet in my room soon, and then I'll be a more regular member.
Until next time my Friends....
