The Love Falling (Part 1)
Balto and Jenna were inside the boiler room talking about Aleu and Kodi. Aleu was out with the wolves and Kodi had pups with his girlfriend. A new dog moved in from Anchorage, Alaska. His name was Komo and he lived near Jenna and Balto. “Jenna, I have to go on a tour.” Balto said getting ready to leave. 1927 was a hard year for Balto and Jenna to spend time together. It was 2 years after Balto rescued the children of Nome and he was busy with tours, sled dog races, and rewards. Jenna felt very lonely. Balto left and left Jenna a rose and a note that said, “I won’t be to long.”. Jenna read the note on the rose. “He always says that. But it takes him to long.” Said Jenna. Jenna decided to go back home and hang out with Rosie. But, she noticed something on her way home.
Komo was in the front yard playing fetch with his owner. Jenna stared at Komo. “John! Dinner!” The mother of the owner yelled. The owner kissed Komo on the head and went inside his house. Komo walked into his dog house and made a sigh. Jenna barked and wagged her tail. Komo noticed her and began to wag his tail as well. He want to the gate. “Hi.” Said Jenna. “Hello. What’s you’re name?” Komo asked with his neck over the gate about to kiss Jenna. “I’m Jenna.” Jenna answered. “I’m Komo.” Said Komo. “Well, I live over by the creek.” Said Jenna. “Really? Well, it looks beautiful. Why don’t you show me around? Maybe, tomorrow night under moonlight?” Komo asked. Jenna was in shock! And not hate shock. Love shock. “Okay. It’ll give me someone to hang out with.” Jenna said. “Okay. I can’t wait.” Said Komo. “Me neither.” Jenna responded. Komo winked at Jenna and left. Jenna nodded her head. Oh my god. This isn’t right. I actually have feelings for Komo. But, I’m with Balto. Oh, I can’t help it. He’s never around! He’s a fame craved glory hound. That’s not what I wanted. I wanted a normal, sweet, generous, husky like Komo. Jenna thought. Jenna walked home. But, couldn’t stop thinking about Komo.
Jenna was in her doggy bed. She was about to go to sleep. Then she did. She had a dream. Her and Komo were together and Balto was Komo’s rival. Jenna hated Balto in her dream. Her and Komo had Kodi, Aleu, and the other pups. Her and Komo were running in roses. She finally woke up. “Oh god. Why would I love Komo more than Balto. I only talked to Komo once. And I had pups with Balto.” Jenna cried. Jenna put her paws on her head as if she had a headache. Jenna took a deep sigh and went back to sleep.
The next morning, Jenna woke up to see Borris knocking on her window. Jenna opened her window. “Hello Jenna. I was just wondering, are you doing anything tonight?” Boris asked with a smile. “First off, why?” Jenna asked in a furious voice. “I’m sorry Jenna. Balto has a dog dinner and he wants you to be there.” Said Boris. Jenna took a deep sigh. My god! Why do I love Komo? Okay. Just stay calm. Tell Boris you’ll be late. “I’ll be a little late. Maybe, a half an hour. Bye Boris.” Said Jenna. Jenna was pushing Boris out of the room. “By-” Jenna shut the window. Jenna felt bad about kind of cheating on him. But she was never in love that fast.
Jenna went to the creek and Komo showed up. Komo and Jenna were staring at each other. “Hi Jenna.” Said Komo. “Hi.” Said Jenna. Jenna and Komo sat down and watched the swans make a heart. Jenna and Komo looked at each other. Jenna splashed water on Komo. Komo splashed water back at Jenna. “Want to go for a swim?” Komo asked. “Maybe I should. The water is only not ice once a year.” Said Jenna. “That’s what I mean.” Komo said ready to jump in. Komo jumped in. Water splashed on Jenna. Komo and Jenna chuckled. Jenna walked in. Komo and Jenna were splashing each other. Wow. I never had this much fun with someone before. I think I’m falling in love with Komo. Jenna thought. “I can’t hide it. It’s too much. Komo I never felt this way about anyone. I’m falling in love with you.”
Jenna said about to cry. “I was waiting for you to say that!” Komo said. Komo and Jenna looked each other in the eyes. Then, something happened. Jenna and Komo shared a kiss.
Balto was waiting at the dinner as the chair reserved for Jenna was empty. “Don’t worry Balto. She’ll come.” Boris said. “Boris, do you know what the point of this was? It was so I could talk to Jenna before my tour. It was pointless. Bye Boris.” Said Balto. Balto got up from the table and walked away. Balto thought it was time to toughen up. He was going to Jenna and his house.
