I have a really good question for you all.. What type of fictions do you like to read and or write and why do you enjoy them?

I will put an example awnser here.. for me it would be the huge megaepics!

reading them.. to me, anyways my friends is like drinking a good wine and enjoying a great film all rolled into one!

(Edit Yet Again: just ignore my pathetic little descriptional screw- up on the strong epic opition! what I really had meant to say was: possible explict content in the plotlines. then the examples I put were supposed to be a continuation of my point, so my apoligies about the blunder!)

Short epic with multiple characters and longer plotlines,but less than 80 pages.

I would say moderate (40 - 75 pages), but that's more because I don't have enough time to read fan fics

I will read, and very often thoroughly enjoy, reading any type of fanfiction, esspecially when it comes to Balto.
I have also written within the first three of these categories, though it may be a while before I have enough time to write a megaepic myself.
My choice for favorite was based on your description, not the page numbers. ("I don't care HOW long it is, I'm GOING to finish it!")

MegaEpics are my personal favorite. I LOVE multiple, well-rounded characters, intricate plots and plot twists, as well as vivid descriptions (depending on how violent or mature the content), and as always, the author's own subtle flair!
One such writer who I'm sure everyone will recognize is Rotramel.

Again, though, I make no reading preference in terms of length. I've read many short stories that so empressed and astounded me that I could likely recount to anyone the entire plot, characters, and setting.
(Sorry if I flatter you, Rotramel, but) I'm probably never going to forget A Broken Trust.
