Try the option "Safe mode with network" I tried safe mode =S No dice, it doesn't work... Yes, it's possible for the sudden loss of power part...Because you see, the battery of my laptop is dead so it can only function when plugged into a wall...And yesterday, while my aunt was cleaning she unplugged it resulting in the computer completely losing all power. When this happened the screen was closed but, not the actual computer. What I don't understand is that she does this all the time when she cleans, she always unplugs it and it dies, but this has never happened before. =S

And i recommend you to avoid cutting the power by pulling the power cable the hard disk drive can take serious damage from that, But since you get the windows boot screen theres probably nothing wrong with the hard drive. CJ- i dont think that would help.... Hmm I'll ask my dad for the disk when he gets home...Thank you everyone for your help =)

i think that there is more that you can do but my mom is at work so i can't tell you how she did it sorry.
I kno wthey are silly soultions but hey it worked when my mom did it. Thank you for trying to help =) Maybe you could ask your mother to tell you what she did when she gets back from work. (Only if you want of course)
