Personally, I think this is needed. Now that we have all this friend list stuff, we need to add our friends. Now, what happens if we already have friends, but they are not online, of have not posted anything in the shoutbox. Nobody wants to actually go looking for their last post. I think there should be an area where you can search for a user's profile.
What do you think?

Type in their exact name in the search and it'll show a link to their profile.

Before this thread dies, on a similar note with the friend's list - I think there should be some sort of mutual friend thing. Like on your list, there is an additional line that says 'this person is your mutual friend', so that we don't have members thinking that they are friends to everyone but don't think anyone is their friend... You know, basic high school-esque stuff.

No, I already said it, but the reason that friends lists aren't public is because I don't want wars over "Hey, I added you to my friend list but you didn't add me to yours!!!"


I may add a search box directly in the friends list page. But for now you can just use the main site search box.
