Recently I've been more into Greyhound rights, and I'm glad to say I've been apart of Greyhound Action for quite some time ;D
Now, as most of you know, Greyhound racing is a very cruel sport throughout the World. Sure, the dogs love to run, but their living conditions are unthinkable. Greyhounds and other "racing" breeds, are usually transported all the world in cramped cages. When they're at "home" they usually live in dark cement kennels with little/no food or water. When a greyhound is injured or un-able to race, they're usually hung(Very popular in "Greyhound Execution" because it saves bullets), or killed in some other horrible way. Some are dumped on the streets. Other in Europe, it's been reporting that kids as young as ten are known to torture and sometimes even kill the dogs that have been dumped out into the street!
Also, racing greyhounds are chosen as pups. If "not good enough" they dispose of them by A. Dumping them, B. Giving them to a "Greyhound Executioner" C. Some other horrible way.
I could go into many more details(The even more cruel ones) but I'm afraid people with weak stomachs would not enjoy reading it.
But, do you see my point? Greyhound racing is wrong and cruel.
Now if you're thinking: Why are you telling me this? How can I help anyways?!
Well, you can sign one of the many greyhound racing petitions, or donate to a greyhound charity-thingeh! <3 Or you can join a greyhound rights group like Greyhound Action! <3

yes very true i have seen a documentary on National Geo about this Greyhound racing ... i totally agree on what you're saying but my cousin races his greyhound he doesn't do the PRO racing thing .. he's against that kind of stuff since he found out what was going on.. he decided not to put his dog in it.. he does a different thing.. i'm not sure what the channel is called but it's called something like Top Dogs.. and it's a dog friendly thing.. and make up there own thing...

and i have seen many things on these greyhounds.. and it's quite disturbing... i would help with the greyhounds but not right now maybe soon.. since i'm with B.S.L. a.k.a it's against banning the bully breed dogs and with the SPCA ...
