People have been coming in here and saying ''omg why does TLK get less attention!?" And I really want to know, do they care or are they just putting up a fight. Because I find it rather annoying to come to the rant board and finding several complaining posts about TLK source getting less attention.

I admit a few people are "upset" that no one is ever on TLK side of the site but it doesn't bother me.
I was a TLK fan long before I was a Balto fan but wolves (not neccasarily Balto) sorta "took over" for me and lions etc. got less attention from me.

I think it's a good thing people are starting to take more of an interest in LKS again because Lion King was surely one of Disney's greatest masterpieces that does deserve all the attention it gets and probably more and if no one used LKS what's the point of Steet keeping it going?

As long as they don't rant about nothing for no reason it really doesn't bother me much at all, go LK fans! Bring it back to life!

The problem here is not that the site's not being invested in... the problem, or should I say problems, are the members who like TLK and go to LKS. You're the only ones who can really "invest" into the site. The more you submit fan stuff, etc. etc., the more investment it will get. But so far, it seems Balto dominates TLK, and there are far more BS submissions than LKS submissions, so BS gets more invested in.

Maybe if you stopped whining and actually did something about it?

We DO care. You should ALL care! If LKS was more popular, BS would be more popular. LKS is a whole lot better than any other TLK site I have seen. I cannot stress that enough. How DARE you say we don't care. We LOVE LKS, and everyone should too.

People shouldn't complain about this, because it is in fact the members who are the ones who should be investing in TLK, wth fanfictions, articles, fanart, etc etc. There shouldn't be complaints about it, for most visitors simply invest more in Balto Source in stead of TLK Source...

Which in fact makes perfect sense. BS seems to be the most "baltoish" and most international Balto site out on the net. TLK has plenty of other sites where TLK fans can expand themselves, so the TLK viewer count versus the BS viewer count isn't surprising.

Yet, given all these circumstances, it is simply foolish to say that not enough is being invested in TLK source. It's all there, just waiting for more use.

So have more people post, attract more fans, and actually do something about it. You can't make the Balto-favouring fans on this site who don't visit LKS do this instead of you. With time, it'll get better.

I agree. This topic should be locked! How dare you even say we don't care.

About uploading, I remember Draco (a fanart moderator) saying the the fanart is updated all at the same time. So, when Balto source art is updated, so is TLK.

Although, I can't remember if she said this was the same for other fan stuff. Either way, I am SURE the mods are fair with the time they invest in TLKS and BS.

Why should it be locked? There's no flamming going...

We updated TLKS regularily, but nothing is ever sent in there, usually. And when it is, it's often inactive for a span of a month or so, then there is, perhaps, one fanfic and fanart to update.

On BaltoSource, there are at least four fictions a day, far more fanart a day, far more music videos and so on.

I wouldn't say that there aren't some problems (there are some bugs that I don't detect on LKS, most often because no one report them either), but all of the Balto Source functionalities can be found on Lion king source too. You can submit exactly the same things.

I agree. The site's investments are based upon what the fans DO on the site.

Example : Drewthewolf (with help from other members) started the Balto 4 project. So many Baltosourcers are interested in this project, I am one them.

So, what I mean is, to make the site more fun and interesting, YOU (the members) must do something about it. You can't expect Steet or Mods to constantly keep spoon feeding you ideas, projects or new interesting activities..

Then why don't you do something about it? TLKS won't be updated much if you don't contribute to it yourselves.



Frankly, I do not like TLK more, or even close to how much I love Balto. You are whining about this, even if you don't want to admit it yourselves. Moderators try to help you as much as we can, but when you are the ones not being able to make an initiative, well...

From my point of view you're saying; "Oh my God, you are so mean because you don't like The Lion King, and because of that you don't give a crap about BaltoSource's twin-site, and I am right and you are wrong, so shut the fudge up." (sorry for the swear >_<)
