I keep thinking, why do most films featuring animals have a cetain theme? such as: a) love always breaks through b) father and daughter/ son bond c) we are one d) family is most important to name a few and I'm actually getting tired of it. Please post your comments below.

These films normally teach some sort of a lesson. I have no problem with it because it is always told in a different way.

There's a little bit of a different pattern between Lion King 2,and Balto 2 at the end.
1.Kiara stays with the family.
2.Aleu has to bid a somewhat sad goodbye to Balto, and asks that Balto to tell Jenna, she found her destiny.
Kiara, and Aleu had to show different types of love.

There is a similar pattern yes, it is called the hero's Journey. you can google this for more information or I can provide you with an example and how it relates to Lion King, Balto, etc etc

I completely understand why people see certain themes in these animated movies, mainly because I am a Christian.
There are several Christian-themed books that do address such issues, like "The Gospel According to Disney" (on the section that talks about The Lion King, the book unfortunately gives a far more biased and cynical view on the characters than I like, mind you). To name some others, there's "Looking for God in Harry Potter", "Knowing Aslan", and "Hollywood Worldviews".
Most likely, these books can be found in any LifeWay store.
I can promise that you will continue to see such themes in today's movies. Over the years, I see that more and more films are containing themes of love, friendship, forgiveness, and redemption. Such issues are at the heart of the Christian faith, and I do agree that many animated films, like The Lion King Trilogy, follow this trend.
(Yes, I'm aware that the forums discourage religious discussions so please do not think that is my intention, but I know why you see a pattern in these films, and there is a reason for it.)
