While watching the Balto DVD at a sleepover, I looked at the scene selections. There I noticed the background was an image of Steele on a barrel. This did not appear in the film; it was a DELETED scene!
Interesting, eh?

Wow, I'll have to look for that next time I watch it!

There is a deleted scene where Steele is on a barrel but I didn't think it had gotten far enough into production to appear in the deleted scenes by accident....

I find it quite interesting actually. It looks like Steele is giving some sort of speech about something, and Balto is just listening in the background, which could be proof that it ain't against him. (Not that I'm saying it is)

Nahh, I think you've got it Mighty, this is the nearest thing to something that looks like it's not in the movie from the DVD sold in the UK.

Hmm, I just checked my region 1 DVD and the shot is there. I never noticed it before, it shows how much I pay attention to things. :D

I heard about this scene. I'm not sure where this scene was supposed to be in the movie or how the plot lead up to it, but I do know that Steele was supossed to jump off the barrel, the barrel rolling toward's Balto, Balto dodging the barrel into the hardware store I think it was and causes a big mess inside from startiling people. Which he then runs out leaving a big mess in the store.

I think another bit of the scene shows up in, Balto the hero. (book.) Thought the scene sounds interseting.

The eyes of Steele are scary in that background, you know.

Oh, right! I've never noticed it. (well I don't play the US version very much anyway)
Yes it seems to be part of that deleted scene (which we're still unsure why it was deleted, because it seemed to have been entirely completed)
