Both, the animated char wouldn't be there without the real Balto and the real Balto has a statue of him for a reason but I went for animated just because the movie speaks more to me and has a great impact. 1925 will never be forgotten but it's quite easy to not feel as touched by it then a animated movie can do

I only chose it to be one option because to me it feels like no one has ever heard of the real Balto, for an example if the Real Balto didnt exist then there wouldnt be a Animated story based on Balto. So i just wanted you guys to figure out if you loved the real or animated. And right at this second only one person chose the real Balto. The rest the animated.

I personally like both of them.
Animated: It was an awesome movie and his design is just cute, don't care what anyone says, it is. One of my favourite animated canine character designs. The story was good even if it wasn't that close to the real version of events and the other characters were brilliant too.
Real: It was an awesome thing that happened, NOT the people getting sick and dying (Duh!) but because of what the mushers and dogs did to help and what they overcame in the end. Also without the real thing happening the movie wouldn't exist XD.
