So yeah i wanted to leak a pice of this new fanfic i started writing a few days ago and get an idea of what you guys think. Not that it matters much to me but i do like seeing fans on my fanfic page and while the numbers are good noone leaves helpful comments in how i might improve on my writing skills. I wanna be one some day and it would help if someone gives some tips. Not of the small Balto seris I was young and just starting out but i leave the mistakes as a reminder.Any way getting to the story, i'd been drafting a story for a while and just recently i sat down and put pen to paper or fingers to keybored heh. The story's about my charater Rain who's a raven black timber wolf who's been banned from her pack bout a year ago. Her goal in life is to either reuninte with her own pack or start/join a new one. In the mean time however she's fine with her best bud a red fox Named Phoenix (nixi for short). The "Sceen" I wrote takes place durring a thunderstorm and the reason i wrote it was to explain her full name "Rain the Storm Runner," well read, comment and enjoy thankyou:
As the day continued and the storm began Rain rested in the grass beside the den, her head lay in her paws and eyes closed, she wasn’t sleeping but she was listening as her dear old friend slept. His claws scraped against the floor of the den as he growled and barked in his sleep. She smiled, fully aware of her surroundings as her nose smelled the storm increasing and the heat in the air as lightening began to strike, the rumble of the ground as thunder collided with its cousin and hit a nearing tree, because of the rain there would be no fire simply lightening toying with it’s prey. The rain and wind became one as the storms intensity increased to the point where one could be in danger, Rain smiled, she’d ran through the most dangerous storms and lived to tell the tale, lighting would avoid her always it was always near her never once striking a tree or dried grass luring her away from her path. When she’d run it was like she was one with the storm and could not be touched by its power. The forest storms is the time when she felt whole in life, they were dark, morbid and full of life, unstoppable like she and Phoenix were when they hunted together. Rain breathed slowly and deeply as rain pored down on her, drenching her fur, rejuvenating her body and soul, the young she-wolf opened her eyes suddenly and rose to her feet. Her muscles tensed up as she looked at the field head, she grinned and began to race toward it. Lighting cracked close to her as she moved faster along the path, a few times it landed four or five feet in front of her making her stop and quickly evade the death bolts, her reflectses and experience with the dangers of storms made her task a simple practice run. She howled as she reached the field and one last bolt collided with the ground near her causing her dark fur to turn electric white as it did. She smiled once more, her fur standing on end from the static as the storm began to slow to a stop. “Rain, my storm runner,” called a female voice, she turned her head toward it, a wolf who’s fur was a dark as her own stood just at the forest edge, its eyes glowing gold against the darkness of the clouds....
