Hardcore Metal, Thrash Metal, Speed Metal, Metalcore Anyone?

These styles of metal consist of bands like the following:

Trivium
Atreyu
Shadows Fall
Pantera
Children Of Bodom
Arch Enemy
Metallica
Slayer
Dethlok
Megadeth (Or Megadave, lol)
Slipknot
Anthrax
Iron Maiden (Early Days)
Lamb Of God
In Flames
Sepultura
Napalm Death
Opeth

And many many many more!

So the question is: are any of you fans of these styles or genres and can you suggest any great albums that fall under them to check out?

I have just recently started getting into Hardcore Metal and would like to pick up a few more albums to broaden my horizons a little bit more!

Thanks for the advice and recommendations in advance!

Opeth does not fit either category nor Maiden come to think of it. Also Hardcore Metal = Metalcore.

Another thing, Metalcore is not worthy of Thrash; lumping such great bands as Megadeth, Slayer, Pantera, Anthrax, Sepultura, Napalm Death, Metallica (Up until Cliff's death, since Mustaine was fired.), Dethklok (Metalocalypse is way too awesome for your feelings.) with this filth is a disgrace.

If you insist on listening to Metalcore listen to Between The Buried and Me, The Dillinger Escape Plan or Mastodon (only vaguely Metalcore).

I like more speedy metal, not all that screaming metal.

Oh, I like Metallica, Slayer, Iron Maiden, lol MegaDave. I also like Cannibal Corpse but they are like a death metal band. I enjoy screaming metal but sometimes I like the hair metal like Bon Jovio was, haha.

Yep.

Symphonic metal, metalcore, thrash metal, heavy metal, power metal....I LOVE metal!

Nightwish
Within Temptation
Epica
Sonata Artica

Five Finger Death Punch
Slipknot
Disturbed
Drowning Pool
Bullet for My Valentine
Godsmack
Red
Dragon Force
Disciple
And Many, many more!

Spaeking of SF, They have a new video and single out now for "Forevermore" from Threads Of Life, It's kinda cool and the song rocks, I still really need to pick up my copy of ToF soon, I don't know why I haven't done so yet, the whole album is sick.
