If Steele apologized to Balto

If Steele apologized to Balto for everything he has done to the hero, would Balto accept his apology? Also, would any other dog in Nome be willing to accept Steele's apology?

I chose maybe. It would all depend if the Balto and the town were in a good mood or not.

I think Balto would. As for the others, some would and some wouldn't.

I went for maybe, it depends on whether he truly means it or not and if he can show he is sorry through actions and not just words. If he apologised because he finally realised how harsh he's been to Balto and of the horrible thing he did to him and his old team mates (which could have got them and the musher killed) then yeah I would accept it but only if he changed his attitude as well.

Balto wouldn't be likely to accept Steele's apology first-up, he'd be wary first after what Steele had done in the past... but if Steele stuck to his apology he would.

Well, people often think they'll react one way to something but then end up doing exactly the opposite. As the cabby in The Magician's Nephew put it when Aslan asked if he could live up to the duties of a king, "A fellow don't know till he's been tried." I'm not positive that's the exact wording, but that's the essence of what he said and it's very true. But I do think Balto would have the heart to forgive Steele for what he did.

Balto would accept the appology. He isnt the typ, to be like Steel.

I absolutely believe that Balto would accept Steele's apology. However, the reception of Steele by the other dogs in Nome would all hinge on whether or not Balto accepted it.

Like some people said, it depends if Steele truely meant it. I think Balto might accept at first but not trust Steele until Steele earned it. I remember hearing that trust takes a long time to earn, a short time to break, and a longer time to get back. In a bit of irony, if Steele had just backed down and helpped Balto that night then he would of ben honored like the rest of the team, just not as highly as Balto so in this Steele stopped himself from obtaining what he wanted most, fame.
