Pets often do funny things, so post all the funny/silly/strange things your pets have done. Any pets-Cats, Dogs, Rodents, Birds, horses, and others

Last night, after I turned my light off heard my cat Columbus hiss. Slightly apprehensive, I turned the light on, to see Columbus looking nervous, in a position ready to run away if need be. He was looking a the top left corner of mu pillow, I looked there and there was.............................. My hairbrush :lol: ! I picked up and let him see and sniffed it after which he settled down and I went back to trying to get to sleep.

Well, I honestly think my Labrador pup, Gena, is too smart for her own good, LOL!

She's quite bossy with my Golden Retriever, Flora (she goes into kennels when she's in heat, so hopefully she'll come back reformed!), and today the two of them were getting into a tussle, ending in Flora running up to the door and asking to come inside. Wish granted.
Gena, however, didn't want to be outside without a playmate, so she started asking to come in too. But unlike Flora, she didn't wait patiently by the door and put on a cute face. No, she jumped up, took the door handle in her mouth and started trying to pull it down to open the door!

Now I think about it, Gena gets into a lot of trouble. She has...
> Opened the laundry cupboard and tossed everything off the shelves in order to find something fun to play with.
> Attempted to eat my homework on numerous occasions.
> Mastered the art of gracefully leaping onto high objects (eg. beds), and uses this skill to lick me awake when I forget to close my bedroom door.
> Eaten a bee, got stung, and had an allergic reaction.
> Worn a dress, and I swear she was embarrased about it. Especially since she was in front of a lot of her doggy friends.
> Carefully picked up Pizza Hut brochures and eaten them. Because they have pictures of pizza on them, they must taste good!
> Stuck her nose so close to my pocket when I had some treats in there, that I thought for a moment she was glued to me.
> Tried to drive a car.
> Chewed up a Wii remote. ;;
> Closely watched the TV when a) One of her favourite shows comes on or b) When she sees a puppy.
> Eaten chocolate wrappers. You find this stuff out about a day after they've been eaten.
> Discovered that the recycling bin is actually a place where you can choose new toys.

And probably about a million other things. But for now, I have just one more tale:

Just this morning, Gena was SUPPOSED to be calmly going for a walk, but decided she didn't want to. So I get the lead on, pick up her coat... and she's run off.
Cue a high-speed chase around the house, with Flora running after her, trying to pick up the lead in her mouth. She actually did, too, but Gena pulled away. xD Flora's saved Gena about 39430723219 times now, but this post is long enough already.

Weeeeell.... I don't know if this is possible, but my two lizards are a little...erm...gender-confused. XDDD Yeah, they've taken to mating, but from what I can tell, they're both females... Hmm. Gotta double-check that.

My dog Daisy one lovely afternoon decided to disgrace herself in my view by wiping her butt on the floor. You know how dogs do it - make a sitting position and drag their butts across the floor. Man that was funny.

I'd be carefull about that. As far as I know chocolate is posionous to dogs O.o I think...

Anyway, I don't have a pet at home, but lots at my dads. My Jack russel, Zoro has

* Stolen my ceral after I popped out the room (I returned to find an empty bowl)
* Followed me into the bedrroom and slept in the bed.
* Always fighting with the cat >>
* Began licking my face one morning to wake me up.
* When we are watching television, he jumps up and leans on you watching telly.

My friends cat also tries to find the snooker balls under the TV once they've gone through thee hole :lol:

And once we were looking after a friends dog. I was half asleep in bed, when I felt a thump. I thought I was imagining it, next thing I knew I opened my eyes to see him right above me. His crafty too, when ever we went out somwhere we would always come home to find him on the sofa, (Which he isn't allowed on...when we're there, in his view I guess)

And my dog Stella (White German shepered), found a fence post in our farm about 2 foot long, and picked it up tring to bring it home XD

And thats about it...

When my husky was still alive, she stole a box with plenty of chocolate in it away from me. And I put the chocolate somewhere high where an old dog like her couldn't get it. She got it. She ate all of my chocolate. But she didn't die from all of the chocolate, she didn't even get sick. She was just as heathy as can be.

Owned- What I men't was in case wrappers had chocolate traces on them, But I wouln't think it would harm a dog too much. Still, it's worth knowing, sorry if you knew already XD

~~~
By the way, (To anyone that didn't know) if you see dogs eating/chewing grass, it usally means they feel sick/unwell. Somhow eating grass helps cure them O.o Random fact...
Chocolate effects smaller dogs eaiser, Huskies are quite large dogs. But yes, Chocolate IS poinnous to dogs and it's worth knowing. Apperantly Dark chocolate is even worse, or at least that is what I heard somwhere
You could write a lot of books about what my cat, Fudge has done. First off, she cries like a newborn HUMAN baby and she's 5 years old. Then, she thinks she's a dog. You know hamsters and cats are, like, natural enemies? My cat doesn't even look at him in any fashion! Then there was this time that she was at the bottom of the stairs and I looked at her and she looked back before jerking and flashing up the stairs with loud thuds being heard as she ran. I was like " What is wrong with that cat?". Then there was the time I put her on the trampoline and when she managed to get away, guess where she ran to? She ran and clawed the garden fence, and managed to get halfway before the door opened and she jumped off. She's nuts, I tell ya.
