Hello, Just thought I'd poke at everyone's awareness of an animated film project called Wolf. The film is an independant, anthropomorphic film that is bringing back the goodness of 2D animation. Want to "Meet the Characters?" Here's a page featuring basics of the story, and some of the featured characters!: http://www.wolfmovie.com/story/story.phpThe Wolf project is entirely volunteer. The mission: http://www.wolfmovie.com/notices/mission.phpAnd of Course, the site's FAQ: http://www.wolfmovie.com/notices/faq.phpTwo clips, using storyboard, and some animation (the first has music, the second is more animation, as well as includes some voice talents): http://www.wolfmovie.com/art/other/2005 ... small4.movhttp://www.wolfmovie.com/art/other/2006_trailer.movThe film does also have a forum, which is much more active than the site, so you may want to check that out every once in awhile ;D However, do not become a member unless you plan to be an active supporter. Accounts are being deleted if they don't follow the criteria agreed upon some of the staff members. I'm currently under Character Design, and an planning to apply for background layout, and ink/color artist. If you have any more questions, you may ask here, and I will try my best to answer them. And if I am unsure of an answer, I will contact a fellow staff member. ~Koeyohte

I'm loving the Wolf movie, don't go on the forums as much as I used to, normally only a couple of times a week now.
XD I'd love to help out but I need to learn animation first and nail their style, it's complicated for me coz it's a mix of realistic and cartoony style (moreso than Balto), I'll still try though! XD Maybe with smaller aspects of the animation I'd be useful.

Not to kill your hopes or anything, but I've followed Wolf on and off for about six-seven years. While it may still be released, it would likely be only available as a super independent film and direct-to-DVD, and that may be longer down the road. Yes, it took about a decade for The Lion King to be released, but remember, that had Disney's backing and funding. Silver Sky Studios relies heavily on donation and the work done on it is volunteer. I think the only realistic way in which it would be released in theaters is if it was picked up by a major distributer - for instance Miramax - or somehow got into the Sundance Film Festival, or something along those lines. Super independent movies - like Wolf are a rare sight on the silver screen, and it really depends on the theater - so even if it was released, odds are not in your favor to be seeing it in theaters.
