You won't believe how many times I day I see this , and not just on Balto Source. Let me say this:
People who do this just want attention. It's very rare that they have good reasons, and actually think it over. Most are back the next day to annoy us some more.
To those people, GROW UP. I know a few people who have left but had very good reasons, and weren't immature about it at all. But they eventually came back. The site becomes addicting and most people can't leave it.

Yeah, I'm sick and tired of even the older members - you know, 16 and up - doing exactly that. Personally, I think if you want to leave the site because: "OMG my mate browke up wit me! I am so leaving BS forevar!!11" you shouldn't be on the site - it isn't a dating site. Please, if you've had a bad day and you're not getting any attention by any member odds are you've done something in the past, often, and are not deserving of attention or sympathy. *rubs her temples* I think those who constantly 'threaten' to leave the site for stupid reasons should leave the site. Permanently. Like a ban or something, so that they can't keep coming back. I'm sorry if this offends anyone, but I've gotten to the point to not caring if you stay or leave if you always go off on such a tangent. There are serious matters that happen to members of the site and these ridiculous ego-stroking exclamations just drown them out, not to mention actually making the real situations that go on in day to day life seem like a daily occurrence - and I'm not talking about issues in romantic relationships... Asking for advice here and there might be okay, but you know, constantly talking about one's boyfriend/girlfriend or "mate" (which some members seem to have forgotten is banned). I'm talking about car accidents, family members getting hurt, killed, war, suicides, shootings, serious injures, intense school stresses, bullies, teachers, family issues, real genuine depression - real issues that affect people in reality. Yes, I believe that these issues should be dealt with elsewhere (with a counselor or whatever), but from what I've seen on the site and in the overall community, many people turn to Animation Source's members for help. But seriously, if you're going to leave the site over drama, leave. Don't come back, don't use the caring people who worry about others on the site to boost your own ego (my massive pet peeve). The less drama on the site, the better. If you cause drama on the site - particularly the shoutboxes - don't be surprised if you are made fun of especially if you are a repeat dramatic. If you act mature you will be treated as a mature person, if you whine, you will be treated as a dramatic or a child. Generally speaking, it's what your parents tell you:
"If you want to be treated like an adult, act like one."

Why do people want to be 'popular' or 'famous' on the Internet anyway? I mean, it's not genuine real popularity, maybe only nearing the 'popularity' of high school, but generally speaking, those on the Internet who are famous on the Internet are average people in reality... That goes to famous people in general, save for the 'divas' (who are both men and women who expect the red carpet everywhere). Being a celebrity isn't all awesome - more people will actually hate you rather than not caring either way. Even the 'internet celebrities' have those same issues - if you're mature (over 18) you would probably have seen articles on Encyclopedia Dramatica on just about every famous person in existence. Personally I like my relative anonymity...

But to cut it short if you don't read my whole thing: Don't always go "OMG I am so leaveing het site! U r all meen!" - you will not garner respect from the mature (mature in behavior and not necessarily mature in age) members of the site, you will be thought of as a child and nothing but until you grow up (even if you're 16 and up). And they'll want you to leave.

Keep acting that way, you should be banned. Keep pointless drama off of the site, it's just annoying and childish. Not to mention it uses people and preys on emotions.

This does irritate me. However, I get over it. Unless it's someone who is my arch enimie. That's different.

I say "See you tomorrow" or "see you next account"...I love to watch how up in arms they usually get. Lol

My god, do I hate these people.
First, they post the same dang thing over and over, and no duh we ignore them, it's cause' they are ANNOYING! Do we have to spell it out for them? S-P-A-M..
Then, they just get all mad at us, and post all these stupid little angry faces, screaming "WHY AM I BEING IGNORED???" why are you being ignored? well...you are rather annoying. But, i can't say that. I will get threatened to be banned.
Last, they finally:
"*Runs away crying* NOBODY LOVES ME!!! "
No duh.
And that is all.

I am frigging begging you. Grow up.

Because I don't think anyone cares if people leave. Yeah someone might be disappionted if one of their best friends left. But I don't think it would go so far as "omg I am leaving my mate left!''...

I know! They are so annoying! They've spamed up my profile just to say, "Hi!", and, "Whazzup!!!???". They ask questions and post them, and they're not even questions! Take it to the shoutbox spammers, grow up.

Gypsy, stop bringing up old topics. Look at the last poster's post date before replying.
