OK, I didn't put up first 2, but I will(Not that part three so far will look much better seeing as the first two were my very first stories instead of poems:


Part I:

Katie is daughter of the alpha male of a wolf pack. Her Mother died when she was very young, and now, her Father gets very scared of losing Katie. He won't even let her glance at Nome, but, she goes anyway. But, gets badly hurt. Kodi finds her and brings her into Nome to help her. find out what happens next!



Kodi and Katie:The Meeting

Note:This is told in my character Katie's POV.The way she remembers' the time she and her mate Kodi first met.





My dear God! It only feels like such a short time ago. When I first met Kodi that is. He was so sweet to me and gentle. And when he carried me into Nome I was all bloody and so was his back at that point. No one could have guessed I was a wolf in all that blood. The humans and dogs stared and talked about Kodi behind his back. But he just kept walking,only glancing at them every now and then.




When I woke up for a brief moment I saw Kodi and smiled at him. Then he smiled back,and after that... nothing but total darkness. Then,I remember my Father,Bashkei storming in.I got up when he smacked Kodi against a wall of the small shed.I went close behind my Papa and whispered "Stop this,at once." I knew he couldn't hear me. Then he went towards Kodi's limp body.I couldn't take it and I stepped over Kodi and laid on his body. Only to protect him,but why? I kept asking myself over and over again. I didn't have the answer then.I closed my eyes and waited for my Fathers' claws to hit me. He was so blinded from mourning for my Mother. Whoops! I'm rambling. Sorry I tend to do that. Heehee.




Anyways,the paw didn't hit me. Instead it stopped just before then. Father looked at me "Katie step aside now. I'll rid this world of him." he said growling. I shook my head "No." I slowly got up from Kodi and sighed. I couldn't believe it! I said no to my Father! Anyway, I remained in front of him, I don't know why but I would not let my Father harm Kodi. "He wasn't going to hurt me Papa. In fact if it weren't for him. Well I'd be dead right now." I sighed and turned to my Fathers' glowing and fiery eyes. He closed them and walked away "Katie, come on. Let's go." I nodded and whispered to Kodi over my shoulder "Thank u. My name is Katie. And I'm sorry for my Father." I sighed and kept in the shadows of Nome.Never once did I look up at my Father,I felt so ashamed for disobeying him. I felt so stupid and dissapointed in myself. I never felt that way before, and it scared me a lot. They were direct orders from him not to go near Nome. But I didn't listen,tears came down my cheeks as I remembered this. Papa stopped and looked back at me he then turned his whole body towards me. He sighed "Katie what the hell did I tell you!?" my shoulders came up a bit as he tyelled slightly. He sighed and calmed down, looking at me "Are you alright?" he asked. I looked up at him "Yeah I'm alright Papa." he looked stern at me after that "But you disobeyed me Katie. I told you straight forward to stay away." he sounded angry and my ears pressed as hard as possible against my head. Tears came down rapidly as he looked at me. He walked next to me,and I spoke "But Papa I've said this before he saved me." I sighed and closed my eyes and my head hung low. Papa tried to look at me without being angry,and he did "It doesn't matter. You're all I have left on earth,and I'm not about to lose you now." he sighed "You are not to see that dog again. Is that understood?" I looked up at him and nodded "Yes Papa." tears still came down and my head hung low once more...




Father wiped the tears away from my eyes and smiled one of his small (And so totally rare at the time) smiles. He sighed and got his eyes leveled with mine "Come on I'm sure the pack has food now." he started walking again and I smiled. I followed him to our pack. Sure enough he was right the pack did have food. But I couldn't eat I kept thinking about Kodi. I didn't even know his name at that point. But that didn't stop me from thinking of him. His burgundy red fur and his creamy white fur on his chest. They met perfectly inbetween. I smiled all the time at that point.




That night I heard his voice calling my name. I woke up and smiled "Where are you?" I asked.Kodi was hiding right under my nose and I couldn't see him. He called to me "Katie." I knew then he was right behind the bush and I went close. Then Kodi jumped put "Surprise!" he said ecitedly.I jumped then smiled but that smile soon left "What r u doing here? Don't u know of the dangers?" I asked. Kodi nodded "Yeah I know but,I had to see you again." I blushed and turned my eyes from his. He too blushed and then he fully came out from hiding "C'mon let's go somewhere where we don't have to whisper." He started walking. I followed him closely hoping Father didn't wake up at the time. And thank the dear Lord above he didn't.




Kodi stopped at a small cliff, and sat down. I stopped and slowly, sat beside him. His brownish looking eyes gleamed in the moonlight. I blushed hard and turned my head from his view "Why do you keep blushing?" Kodi asked. But, in fact asking me that question blushing himself.I looked and giggled-something I rarely did at the time- and smirked "Well why do you blush so much?" He looked at me still a little pink in the face "Well.. I don't know. I just get this really wierd feeling when I'm around you." I looked at him wide-eyed and my face was completly red.Then Kodi had remembered something "I'm sorry you told me your name but I haven't told you mine." I looked at him "Well what is your name?" Kodi smiled and told me "Kodi." I looked down my face turning back to normal."Well Kodi,it's nice to meet you." I smiled and then I looked at him. And Kodi, looked into my eyes.

We stared into each others' eyes. Mine dancing with excitement, and a little bit of embarassment. His pierced mine through, all they way to my heart. Then Kodi came towards me, and... HE KISSED ME! I blushed and smiled "Wow." I said and then nuzzled my way under his chin. And his chin overlapped the top of my head. Then I knew it,I had fallen in love with Kodi. At first sight, I I knew in the depths of my soul, I loved him; the dog that smelled like a wolf.Part II:

Part 2 of my Kodi and Katie stories. Katie has discovered she's in love with Kodi. Her Father, Bashkei, tohugh wants nothing to do with Kodi. So, she sneaks out and meets him, can and will they go all the way? Read to find out....



Forbidden Love: Kodi and Katie

There I sat, my head under Kodi's chin. Nothing but the pleasure of being with the one whom I love inside me. He let ot a sigh and smled, I looked up at him, then, smelled something... My Father. I panicked a bit and got my head from under his chin and looked at Kodi "Kodi, we gotta get you out of here! My Father is coming!" he nodded and quickly darted into a small den. I sighed and turned my head to the rising sun, glad that father didn't see him...




A few moments later, Papa did come out and looked at me. I turned and smiled at him. He smiled back and sat down beside me "You're up early.... Why?" he asked and I thought for am oment, then, replied "Well, I just thought I'd see the sun come up." I smiled at him. He smiled back and nodded, then, he looked down, and noticed pawprints, mine, and...Kodi's. I never realized how much bigger his paws were than mine. He looked at me and I looked back, after a moment, he asked me "Who was here with you?" I looked down and acted surprised "Oh, these? I don't know, somebody was probably here before me." He nodded "Well, in a few moments, come to the pack." I nodded as he left. I looked at Kodi and motioned for him to go back to Nome. He nodded and slinked away, out of sight...




After a day of the pack, watching the pups' and doing whatever I had to, the pack was my family....




Anyway, that night, I laid down behind my Father, then, I heard Kodi's voice, I looked around and saw him, he smiled at me, and I smiled back. After a moment of smiling, he motioned for me to follow him, I followed, almost loyally. I looked back, Father still sleeping. I smiled and quickly followed Kodi..




After a few minutes of wlakinf, Kodi and I were on a hill, on the outskitrs of Nome, I smiled and he smiled back. Then, he took a blanket off of something. But, instead of what I thought it might have been, was actually the opposite I looked at him "Kodi, these are broken glass bottles. How wonderful are they?" I asked as he chuckled underh is breath. He adjusted them, and brought a lamp in, then put the lamp behind the glass, and before i knew it, the Northern Lights had appeared on the mountains side, I gasped in amazement and happiness, my eyes glimmered with excitment. I smiled "Oh, Kodi, you were right, this is wonderful..." Kodi breathed, he was looking at me "They're only a fraction as wonderful, compared to you." he breathed again. I looked at him and blushed, as he leaned closer to me, and I leand closer ot him as well, we both went closer and closer....




I'm guessing but something must of snapped inside Kodi, because he leaned all the way until our lips met, I smiled and pressed my lips against his, I was embarassed, I had never been in a lip lock before. Kodi smiled back, his beautiful hazel brown eyes closed, as my turquoise eyes did the same, I was so embarassed that my cheeks turned pink as did his a bit. I smiled, I wasn't the one with the first time lip lock that moment.




After a fewm oments Kodi broke away gently and I took the oppertunity to nuzzle under his chin, he smiled at me as we felt the sun rise. He sighed "want me to walk you back?" he asked. I shook my head "No, I'm not going back, I wanna stay with you Kodi." I said, Kodi shook his head "No, it woudn't be right. You're the only thing your Father has on this earth. He would porbably miss you a lot." he stated as I nodded. I kissed his muzzles as I said goodbye to him. And, went home, as did he.




After a few mintues I saw my Father in clear veiw, what would I tell him? I was out all night with the same guy he forbidded me to see? No. I wouldn't. I couldn't.




Finally I sat beside him and he smiled. Did he know? Was he smiling because he was okay with it? No. He smiled and said "I want to meet this wolf you've been with Katie." I smiled, and nodded. Thoguh I was screamingi n my head Oh GOD! He tihnks I've been with a wolf! He'll want to meet kodi tonight. I was panicked. What was I going to do? How cou;d I break this to Papa? And, would I see Kodi again if he came to see my Father?


Part III:

Bashkei wants to meet the alleged wolf he thinks his daughter has been going out with. Katie's fears mount up...and Kodi, may ask her to run away. Will Katie run from the only life and loving family she's ever known?

Kodi And Katie: Run Away...?


Oh God! Oh God! I ran as fast as I could, telling my Papa I'd tell this 'wolf' he wanted to be met. In fact it was early, and Kodi had said he was going home. But, where WAS home to him?!(At this point I was still too stupid to actually use my head...But, hey, when you're frantically searching, going out of your head, heh, nevermind...)I stopped, giving a mumbled groan of realization that my nose was still capable of it's job. I pressed my muzzle to the snow, searching for that unique scent. The scent of the forest, and the scent of a loving home, I suppose. I was still much too young to realize it, but I guess it was the scent of loving humans.
When I finally did catch his scent, I wasn't too far from his home, and sunrise was tilting over the horizon more and more. If I was seen...I was as good as dead. All it took was one bullet, I knew that. I still do. I ran like Hell, sometimes I thought I melted the snow. But I know I can't run that fast.
Kodi! Kodi! I was still searching, every so often I would dig my already wet nose into the snow, usually catching his scent. But, during the course of the morning, I started to hide in the shadow, the alleys, anywhere dark I could find! But, to this day, I still can't understand why a union like mine and Kodi's is so looked down upon. It's pointless to me I suppose.

ANYWAAY....

When I did find Kodi's home, I was surprised at how nice it was. One of the nicest, I guess. I climbed a pile of logs stacked up beside to the house, and found an open window, to a very nice room. Sure enough, I saw Kodi, in his own little bed. It's funny, really, to see a full grown dog in a little bed made just for them...Heh heh, it was just too rich at the time. He snores too.

BUUT...

I'm not here to make snide remarks am I? I'm here to tell you the WHOLE story..Least that's what they dragged me here to...OH! You're still here, apologies! Hee...whoo boy. Okay, I'm good now, let's get on with this...
I thank God the window was open, and I quietly slipped in. Weird there was no human in there with him. He mighta already been gone. Oh well! Luck was on my side fo the moment. I slinked myself over to Kodi's sleeping form(It was kinda cute, really, seein' him all curled up like that. Hee hee)and I knew what to do, I gently shook him with a paw, ears flattened against my head. Why was he still sleeping!?! Oh my ever loving life I started to shake him frantically, calling his name in a hoarse voice; "Kodi! Kodi!" my eyes were wide and I coulda sworn I started to sweat. After several moments of shaking, I sighed. But, I was angry. He was just a freakin log right then and there! And all I held dear, including him, was at jeopardy. Our entire relationship was in my Father's paws! I was entirely capitulated, head down, and eyes shut.(Do not ask me how the Hell I know what capitulated means, and how I used it properly in a sentence. 'Cause even I don't know!)"Fine," I gasped softly, a little surprised to hear myself talk. "Kodi," I leaned in close to his ear "If you don't care about me, I guess I can just get mated off to Shenkin." Shenkin...pervert. You see, he's the beta's son. It's almost ritual for the alpha's first born pup to marry the oldest of the beta's pups. And since, out of eight, I was the only survivor, and Shenkin was just lucky to be an only pup, we're a match made in heaven to my Papa, Bashkei.
But I don't see it that way. Ever since I began maturing, let's face it; I'm probably the sexiest thing ever seen in that pack to all the subordanate males! Buuh...makes me sick. They're all leches I tell you! LECHES!! They don't see the sparkling mind and pure soul behind the pretty face. I'm just a prize to be won to those jerks. Kodi wasn't like that, he liked me, because I'm me. He also said he loved my eyes. (Meh heh, beat that Dusty...my EYES! Whaddya got on that you midget?! Not only am I a fox-no pun intended if you can get that-fast, strong, independant, but my eyes are sexy, TOO! HAH!!! score one for Katie...WHOOPS, you're still here! Boy, is my face red) Well my little rouse seemed to work-or so I want to believe-since he woke up. I laid down beside him and sighed. My ears were back and he could tell something was wrong with, and I was glad to know we're that close.

Kodi: I...don't quite know. If I had to say anything; it was the way she saved me from her Father. He's a rather large creature. At the time, she was badly wounded, and top of it all, she is the tiniest wolf I know! That took alot of courage.



Katie: He saved my life! And..he intruigued me; a dog, that smelled like a wolf...He was so gentle though. That an the fact because dogs are usually so much less violent than my own kind. But, I know Kodi could protect me if anything happened.

As for your second question; every waking moment. I can't remember much of my Mama, 'cept she was white, from the mountains, always having a bit of a hard time breathing in the forest. She always made me feel safe...and warm. I loved my Mama, the whole pack flourished under her as our pack 'Mother'. But, she still looks over me, and I see her in my dreams ^^

Bashkei: I miss Lenatei terribly. I'm glad she calmed down enough to love me back. As for Shenkin; I had always seen him as a good, young male. And I didn't want my daughter to be carted off by another pack's son. That was promise to her Mother, to not give her an arranged mate....I didn't like my daughter's mate because; he was a dog. And dogs are in connection with humans. I didn't allow any connection with humans in my pack...I suppose you could call it a grudge, well, because they shot my mate.

KG: Unfortunately, Bashkei was also taken down by a gun protecting his daughter in her time of need.



Nickie*blushing*: I've known Steele since I lost my parents. I wandered away from my siblings into Nome. Steele found me; he helped me. And he loved me. He's how I got my old Master. And I would be devastated without him, he's my everything.

Katie: Bleh. Nasty little dog. She looks like a midget to me. I mean, I'm not spiteful by nature, but come off it, who LIKES her?!

Pretty good story. I have some questions I've been wanting to ask.

Bashkei- I can understand that you don't like Kodi being a dog but he's also part wolf and a grandson of Aniu, who from what I know is almost worshipped by wolves, had you known that when you first met him, may that of changed your mind? Also what do you think of the fact that Katie ends up naming one of her sons after you?

Katie- what do you think of your mother in law Jenna? Also what about your father in law Balto?

Kodi- ignoring the fact he tried to kill you, what do you think of Bashkei?

Thanks, the first parts are from '05-'06, so they're not very good if you really look at part three as a seperate ^^

Bashkei-I think I could have tolerated him, if I had known sooner. I love my daughter, and I'd sooner have died than let someone take her away. And after what happened to her Mother, I have to say I did have a curiosity of humans in my youth...But that was before Lenatei died. I cut off any contact that my pack had with dogs, or humans. But, in spit of it all, I'm happy Katie's a Mother and now she feels what I had felt before hand.

On the note about Kai; I'm sure if any of my pack saw him now, they'd mistake him for me. I am very happy indeed to have such a Grandson as Kai. And also very happy Katie named him after me, that reallys shows how she thinks of me like I do think of her.

Katie-I have to admit it, but I get nervous around Jenna. She's a very kind dog, but something inside me gets really nervous...

Balto on the other hand just radiates Paternity. He reminds me of my own Father at times, so he's kind of like my security if anything goes sour.

Kodi-He was only doing what came natural, I'm not bothered by it...much. He was a good guy, and in the end did protect his unborn grandchildren. Well, actually, they were born the night he died. But that's another story.

Haha, I see.

Bashkei*nodding*- She was in my mate's pack, and often dropped by to visit Lenatei when she was pregnant. We were so fond of Aniu, and she was(As we belive) the reason our Katie didn't die. The night before she had come to me, and told me to look for the black stripe once I saw the litter. The following morning Lenatei went into the birthing den and wouldn't allow anyone in. 7 of our 8 pups died, all but Katie. So, we asked Aniu if anything should happen to us while Katie was 1 or under, to take her far away, and raise her. Now she's a spirit, Lenatei followed, and I was the last.




Katie- Trouble or worry? Heh. With that zany little dog at the post office, I'm given nothing but concern. I do worry about rival packs, sicne my scent is usaully all over him. I also worry about Grizzlies and wolverines. Not to mention thin ice...Ugh! I know he loves it, so I don't ask him to quit.



Kodi*laughing*- No one knows, actually. They think from her scent, Katie's a half breed too! But, they have seen Kai and are now suspicious of her heritage. But, we can handle it.

Bashkei-I see, that's intresting. Since you were such good friends with Aniu, did you ever see Balto while he was still with her?

Katie- I see. Before you met Kodi, had you ever heard anything about Balto, seeing he's a hero and all that?

Kodi- I see. What did you think when Cachen was born and looked like a mini verson of your dad?

Bashkei- Balto and I are roughly the same age. So I can't say I've ever seen him. Heard plenty about him, and I have been buffeted with comment after comment on how sweet and kind he is by his Mother.



Katie- he's as famous as his Mother to us wolves. Though he's more or less a lesson to young females who want to be with a dog. So he's rather a scary figure in our 'society' if you will.



Kodi- I laughed, and Katie cried. She decided straight off what she'd name him. A friend of hers had said Cachen meant 'Northern Star' or something close to that back where she came from. I was going to name him Balto after my Dad, but... Can't win em all.

I have a feeling there's more ^^(I love this!)

Bashkei- I see, so that means he was seperrated from Aniu before she died? Did your pack know Nava's, now Balto's daughter Aleu's, pack?

Katie and Kodi- how did you react to Cachen's hemophobia?
