A thought just came to me:

How would you guys rate the opening and ending of each movie?

Opening

Balto 1 opened with real life then moved to animation and to me, this is a very unique way to start a animated movie.

Balto 2 opened with the dream that Balto get several times in the movie.
To me, opening a movie like this is good in some genre of movies but is this one I think it's to "dark" and some people with reject the movie at the start, that is for a "kid-aimed" movie.

Balto 3 opened with different views of people and animals doing "jobs" or anything else they will do. Unlike the other 2 movies, this movie opened with a very moving lyric song that I think will draw people to wach the rest of th movie.

For my rating is:

1)Balto 1
2)Balto 3
3)Balto 2

Ending

Balto 1 ended with real life. Like I said before, I think this is a very unique
way.

Balto 2 ended with Balto sitting in front of his mom. When I first wached this movie, some questions were left unanswered. So ending a movie like this is, in a way, bad.

Balto 3 ended with Balto in Duke's (SP?) plane flying above Nome with the lyric song, Everything Flies.

My ratings for endings.
1) Balto 3
2) Balto 1
3) Balto 2

this is what I think: for the openings Balto 1 is the best at that it has a good starting scene to lead us into the story, the Balto 3 next with the song not the best song ever but its ok and last Balto 2 it rushes into the story a bit quick.

For the endings Balto 1 is best again ending it with the statue of Balto, then next Balto 2 had a better ending than it did beginning with Aleu leaving and last Balto 3 it ended with the same song as starting with so that was a bit dull but still it was ok.

Now that's a very good topic :)
I have pretty much the same opinion as Rusty the fox...

Opening:
Balto 1 has a very original opening for an animated film, however this also may be a reason for people to keep watching it because it doesn't really show how the film is. (I mean, many people were not expecting an animated film after this intro...) But I also love the music in the intro...Give me chills every time!
Balto 2, well I like the nightmare music, but it's at the same time a strange opening and a poor one. The 3D does not blend at all with the 2D in this intro...
Balto 3, I just love this opening...I love the beginning of "everything flies", the old fake Universal logo, the beautiful backgrounds, the good animation (I still think the intro is way much better animated than the rest of the film)...BUT only in the original version of the song, the french one is really really horrible...

1)Balto 3
2)Balto 1
3)Balto 2

Ending:
Balto 1, same as the intro. The ending is too short, we really want to see more...But there is "Reach for the light"!
Balto 2...bad ending. While the last 10 minutes of the film are the most interesing, the ending is just abrupt, way too short and quickly done. The ending song is exactly the same as in the film...("somebody wants you")
Balto 3 has once again IMO a very beautiful ending. There's no question unanswered, everything's clear, and I love the long version of "Everything Flies". The postcard presentation credits is pretty well done.

1)Balto 3
2)Balto 1
3)Balto 2

Wow, in fact I've voted Balto 3 for both the opening and endings  Maybe that's why I always keep a good opinion on this one

Yes,

1.)Balto 1
2.)Balto 3
3.)BAlto 2

I think it's important to show Kodi than Aleu first to me.
Why?Because Kodi can show he can be a leader and that's when the BAlto 3 animators start to think about Balto 2 Wolf Quest.ALeu is a leader Kodi will become a leader soon.Jenna Balto's Mate and Love.Balto the town saver hero.
The rest is to be contiented...

Opening:

Balto 1 had a beautiful opening. The music really got me, and it's really creative. The music fits in, and is perfect. I really loved the opening.

Balto 2 had a better opening than Balto 3, atleast to me. The music did fit in, and was nice. The opening is not as good as Balto 1, but it had a pretty good opening.

Balto 3 ... Well, the opening starts with a song, that I disliked. The opening didn't catch my eye, but was okay. The music was what bothered me, and I disliked the animation more than I hate Balto 2's animation.

1) Balto 1
2) Balto 2
3) Balto 3

Ending:

Balto 1 had a great ending, which I can happily watch over and over, and not get bored of it. The music, once again, fitted in and they did the ending perfect. I loved the ending, and thought it was great.

Balto 2 had a.. Well, the ending wasn't horrible. Atleast we wouldn't have to see Aleu anymore(Dance for joy!), and I loved how Balto was seen with his mother(Known As 'The Great White Wolf'), and the ending wasn't really expected.. but it was a bit confusing. How was Balto's journey back home? Is Aleu safe at her new 'home', and what does Jenna feel? When Balto returned, what did Jenna say? And what did Balto say? But, I liked the music.
Balto: I am back.
Jenna: Oh, Balto, *dances for joy* Where's Aleu?
Balto: LOL, I let her lead a pack. Their on freezing cold water, and is sitting on a peice of ice, or whatever and their howling. LOL, no more Aleu. Wooo!
Jenna: -SLAP-
(This was for fun. I can RP Jenna and Balto way better than this, btw.)

Balto 3's ending was bleh. We all knew that their going to return happily.. I mean - same with Balto 1, but Balto 1 is based on a true story, and they did the ending better. XP I just didn't really like the ending.

1) Balto 1
2) Balto 2
3) Balto 3

1,3, and then 2. This applies for both the beginings and the endings.
