Does anyone knows this movie?
It's the storie of a B 17 plane's crew during WWII wihch only need one more mission to get back home. But this mission turn out to be the toughest ever.
This is my favourite movie with Balto because it really illustrate the adventure and the way of a pilot to think.

Along with Balto, Saving Private Ryan, and Windtalkers, that movie has made it to my all-time favorites list.
Who's your favorite character?
I like Rascal! You had to have real guts to man the ball turret.
If a German plane comes at the bottom of the plane, the turret is very obvious and often the intended target.
Go Rascal! :)

I think it was something quiet hard to go down there too. But my favourite character is Danny 'cause he is the pilot. Or maybe phil, the navigator. I love so much when they are about to land and the wheel isn't in place!

It really is a great movie.

I can agree with that. Plus that movie really strikes home to me. A very good friend of mine worked on the actual Mephis Belle as part of a ground crew. While some of it was definitely Hollywood, it was nevertheless a good film.

The landing is a great scene....

Phil, cranking the handle furiously... "We're not gonna die! We're not gonna die! We're not gonna die!"
