Would it count as a fanfic 'cause it has some Balto characters in it?

Hardly any of my friends have commented on it though.... Or even looked at it.

Now about the story, I'm actually about 1/4 done writing, but it'll be a while when its finished.

Based on your description, I'd advise keeping it on DevianArt. As the rules say, no mega-gore and none of that more controversial stuff (I'm guessing it's either politics or worse, and both are no-nos here).
