Balto would have a lonely life.

Well, for starters, Balto probably wouldn't have been as 'inspired' to go out and find the team. (Hey, they all hated him, remember?) And even if he had, he most likely would not have survived his encounter with the bear.
Even if somehow he managed to find the team, beat Steele, and lead the team back to Nome, he might still have remained single.

Jenna was his main reason for finding and returning the medicine.

Thankfully, she was there, and Balto and her fell in love.
Ahh, such a sweet couple.

I think Balto will spend time with wolves,and that will be a sotry about another kind of self-discovery.

If she never exsisted then the story wouldnt be right because she helped Balto alot like with the bear and she inspired him to go get the medicine

Yea jenna was really the only reason Balto survived the Bear attack.

Hmmm. Well Balto went out there for Jenna because her beloved owner Rosy was ill. So Balto did that for her. But if Jenna never excisted then they would make it different. Maybe they would have made Balto and Rosy best friends and when she gets ill Balto finds the lost sled team for her. And the happy ending would be that when he returns Rosy's parents let Rosy keep him as a pet since Rosy's father never let her near Balto in the first place. But the story in the film already is better than this rubbish I typed.

Then... NO ALEU! *le gasp* Okay, that was entirely in the wrong forum... XD I'd say that Balto would feel dead... I feel dead when I'm lonely. XD

i agree with Princess Celina after all if I remember correctly Balto noticed Rosy b/c she was most likly the first human to be kind to him and actully treat him like a pet insted of some rabies ridden rat. He'd have still gone after the team in hopes that Rosy and her parents would accept him. Jenna was just the icing on the cake, besides after the return of the medican, the female dogs would and probly did swarm over him, we'd still have lil alue, kodi and the other four just with another dam (mom)

It wouldn't have made much of a difference in the big scheme of things. Although Balto loves Jenna with all his heart, she is not the center of his universe, and niether are his kids. Being the hero or being the lead dog has been his biggest focus since the first film, Jenna just happened to be there. It wouldn't have stopped him from succeeding in the first film, although the second and third films may have been significantly different with no children in the mix but the point of stories would have still gotten across.

As for Balto's happiness... He may not be as happy as he would have been, but he'd still have felt very positive about the lives he's saved and the new found respect he earned.

It's why I don't use Jenna in my fan-fics that much nowadays, she's not that important.

I disagree, I thought she was very important. Balto was in love with Jenna and without her would have done a lot less of the things he did in the Balto movie. Maybe he would have gone to rescue the team even if he hadn't met her but most of the time he seemed to have Jenna and Rosy on her mind and without Jenna, Rosy probably wouldn't have entered his mind. Also Jenna helping Balto with the bear seemed to pretty much save his life
