That's just silly.
Also not to mention when someone deletes their account and all of their posts and then rejoins as a different account name. How I hate that.

Well, if you have any idea to prevent this... But the problem is always the same : how can we detect this? The ip can't help because multiple members in the same family may want to create an account, and AOL connections all have the same ip.

Well, the only suggestions I can make to that, Steet - because it is really difficult to discern individuals on a single IP or one person having multiple accounts - is to look into the typing style. Usually people have different styles of typing, but again, that is also extremely difficult to discern. Also, those with multiple accounts - or rather delete their account and then come back - are often repeat offenders. If you take a look at the individual under investigation's profile and a previous account - if that is, they didn't delete it, and look at the info - if it is exactly the same or if there are only some differences, you will likely have caught the individual.

I agree. This username i use now, is what i am known for, and i will stand by it. But deleting your account and then saying ' hey! it's me, ____ did you miss me? i deleted my account so i could change it!" god...can they just shut up? the problem with newbies is that they don't read the rules, or at least the bad ones don't. Then they go around, making 5 accounts at 1 time, and going into the sb, and "talking' with their friend. ( themselves) annoying much?
