Ok, hopefully you know of my little problemo. This cacker dude is out to get me, and Walto Disney. Just the other day, somebody hacked into Walto's account. And Walto pmed me, and told me about this person who stole my name. This is the 3 time it has happened. A while ago, this person, charlite2(magic) copied off my name when it was still charlite(magic). Then, about 1 month ago, i go into the shout box, and there is this imposter, claiming to have my current name first. His/Her name was " Moonlight Magic" and dang, i was mad.

If you have had this problem, wish to help anybody who had HAD the problem ( or still does) post here! Also, post what you feel about these people.

By the way, since people are going to get mad at me for saying the names of these people, i am sorry. I think you should know who to watch out for.

I had the password hacker problem,way back in 2005.

That has never happened to me. But I believe you. Its true. People seriously need to think before they act!

Please stop with the whole "hacker" thing. That's no hacking. These people created accounts with names close to the ones you've got, but there's no way to prevent this. (at least no easy one, even though I could maybe think of something...)
If you have a problem with someone who is doing that, then tell the mods, they'll check the registration dates and ban them if they need to.

It's not me they are hacking into, so i don't need a password change. I am having this rant because i think people need to know about these bad people, and who to look out for, and so on.

People on the internet should already be aware of this. But you really can't say who to look out for, because it could be anyone. People shouldn't make predictable passwords or give their passwords out.

And as said before, impersonation and cracking are WAY different things. Please don't confuse the two.

No, if someone else created an account, he used a similar name but not the same one. Unless the mods are blind (I hope you're not, right? ) they won't ban you but that person only.

I know what you mean, but, no this isn't hacking. Somone could use a simalar name by mistake, but then they can be warned and change it to avoid confusion. I looked up my name the other day, clicked on a Fire_Paw and it took me to somone elses account. Now Fire_Paw? I'd imagine it is a fairly popular name. But I've seen some names that were oviously copied on purpose. Not hacking but identify theft. Mainly with people who are popular. However if you think your account was hacked into change the password imediatly. Remember to create back up files for profiles and such. Contact a mod. If the person who has got into your account is a member, their IP will be known.
